What your go to tank to SLAP some tanks?
Do you ever use pre-equipment 2.0 equipment on your tanks? So far I never see you use ventilation and a lot of hardening and turbochargers and food.
114 sp 2 is my favorite, it’s gold is great for slapping lights and mediums and it’s just so accurate.

Food is great if you can earn an extra 20,000 credits per battle, which is something that probably won't happen most of the time. As for taking advantage of equipment 2.0, I think most people overthink things. They think hardening or rotation mechanism are somehow better than just buffing their tank by 5% overall. Or they use a turbocharger on most of their tanks yet still complain about battles ending too quickly without seeing a connection between the two.@@arhangeo

Because both the tier 7 & 10 Japanese TD's are fun to play, they will meet the WG nerf hammer next year if not sooner.
Have to agree with t7, I had a blast with it, but t8 is pain stock with so much exp needed to unlock modules, plus it's armor doeasn't hold tier for tier.
WG need at least 3 years to figure out whether tanks need to get nerfed or buffed. And then they overdo it.
Well, honestly Tier 7 is a bit overpowered and it deserves some nerfs, other tiers are fine.
The tier 10 definitely needs a nerf (no idea about the tier 7 don't play tier 7 very often) The tier 10 has the same broken combo of stuff that made the Bobject so obnoxious, high alpha + good mobility (particularly reverse and turning speed for a turretless TD) + good gun soft stats. Whilst the Bobject had idiot proof armour as well, this has more than enough usable armour to bounce a decent amount and then has much better penetration and reload than the Bobject. This thing can peek, snap, doesn't need to aim that carefully because 360 pen AP and then pull back before most tanks, especially heavies can react and have a chance to aim, and then even if the enemy does snap a shot back there is a good chance it will bounce. It's too dumb of a combo, 700 alpha with massive AP pen and good accuracy shouldn't have medium tank or low alpha heavy levels of soft stats, this thing has much better aim time, accuracy and soft stats than a Bat Chat, but has 700 alpha, that is fundamentally dumb. It then it fast, agile, reverse quickly and has good DPM, which makes it hard for mediums/lights to circle it/rush it because it will smack you for another 700 alpha before you can get close and it turns really quickly and reverses like a med with field mods and turbo.
WG consistently make TDs OP and this is just another example to follow on from T95, Tortoise, Turtle, TS-5, Bobject, Mino etc. in the trio of firepower, armour and mobility they usually make one of those things decent and the other two extreme. In the case of the ho-ri it's absurd firepower + medium mobility + ok armour, which makes it a broken combo. Needs either a big gun handling nerf or a big mobility nerf IMO.
Nah, T92 HMC Arty has 372 pen on AP rounds :D

The blind shot on Ensk where you focussed in with your post-edit commentary was actually not a hit. if you look closely (0.25 speed) you can see part of shell explosion behind the bush. You hit the e100 with your fisrt blindshot, where you were aiming at the conq/bc. At around 7:20 in the video/.

food for thought. the gold pen on hori is AP, meaning it has a hidden 5° normalization buff, that means thick slopped armor are made weaker. 360 pen on paper but in reality vs slopped armor its effective value reaches almost 380-390 pen. and there is no tank in the game that can stand a shell with that massive pen. moreover it being AP, spaced armor are all useless. on equal ground, it will and can actually pen a chieftain turret.

It is 5 degrees (5°) not 5 percent. For apcr it is 2° of normalization.

That’s not how normalization works basically if you hitting 50mm sloped plate at 30 degree angle, the AP round will normalize it so it will be trying to penetrate 50mm at 25 degree which is way easier to penetrate since effective armor is reduced due to reduction in the angle of the armor by 5 degrees

Dez, which mod arranges your damage, blocked, spotted, tracked, assisted damage figures in that way (all sepperate) at the bottom left corner next to the HUD?
the wg way is very annoying. i used to install xvm partially for that reason and partially to move crew around, but since wg incorporated crew movement, i dont want xvm anymore. and this mod looks like it arranges them well and cleanly.
I just finished grinding out the tier 8 and wow what a POS that thing was. Sold it as soon as I unlocked the tier 9.
correct me if I'm wrong but the 103b has 308 apcr standard pen and the highest?

is AP better than heat in any shape or form?
It's more mobile that an E4, a more reliable gun than an E4, the armour is a bit better. Gun depression isn't brilliant but as it's tall you can sometimes tuck everything below the hilltop.

Im currently grinding this line and its pain im at tier 7 which has been fun but not excited for tier 8
Tier 7 is highlight up till now for me. And I’m almost trough tier 9.

Armor is a little useful if you can hide lower plate. It’s not that bad. And tier 9 is better. The tier 9 gets more dps and armor.
@@flamingogaming4582 tier 8 is the worst of the line, not fun to play at all. I'd highly recommend skipping straight to tier 9.

what are you using that shows those numbers below your reticle? Are those numbers the pen versus armor? 12:42 for reference
Aslain mod pack has an option for it and hundreds of other modifications

Sadly this thing will be below average when it comes to consoles thanks to the Taran. 950 alpha, same pen as obj 268, with 360 turret, better view range and concealment than light tanks and insane mobility. I've been penned frontally in my Is7 from a Taran.

What do you think about it? Something is wrong, really wrong for a sniper super accurate TD, don't you think?
No pen with all ammo, no camo, no mobility, no terrain resistance no matter the vehicles weight, no gun depression, no gun elevation, no gun handling, no armor, no reverse speed, no acceleration.
Grille has 47% win rate and has more than 6 years in this trash conditions.
I ask myself: CCs has not shame about themselves, any CC say nothing about that.
Ho-Ri 3 will be nerfed and buffed in some stats because are performing too much. The changed it more for a sniper, mobility and gun dispersion buffed; and armor nerfed. On RU region they are moving it in this direction. But buffing Grille, zero chance no matter how shit the vehicle performs. There are too much Grilles in the game so they wanna let the vehicle a complete trash because people still plays it. I stoped completly.
WoT a joke. EU complains about MM but gets 4 decent matches in a row...
