In mario kart wii, only 1 shock could be in play at once. In mario kart 8 deluxe, 3 shocks can be in play at once. When a shock is used, no shock can be obtained for another 30 seconds. But if someone dodged the shock while holding a shock, then they can use it again. That's how you sometimes see 2 very quick shocks

I was wondering if I should record my videos in 1440p even though the switch is 1080p cause u record in 4K and I saw another comment about how it makes the quality look better so I’m wondering if I should do that for 1440p.
Most people wont click off becaus the video is in 1080p but if you have good internet and computer specs then there is no reason not to

I record in 4K because idk if there is a difference in recording quality (the switch outputs 1080p, but the sampling may be different idk), but I recently built a computer that can handle it really easily so I figured why not. Even if you record in 1080p, export it upscaled to 1440p so CZcams will use a better compression algorithm on your video. If you just upload 1080p and it looks good on your computer, it may still look bad on youtube

@@Goombster1 Yes. CZcams uses different compression algorithms depending on whether the resolution is less than 1440p. If that is true, then it uses a worse-looking compression.
In other words, to get the best-looking compression you should upload in 1440p or 4K.

Yes, it's old footage but bagging isn't impossible. If this was 3.0.0 footage, after he got the 2 stars his third item should've been an item you can only get in top 3 - this is the change Nintendo made to discourage bagging, but it doesn't remove it. But because he got a blue shell, that's how you know it's pre-patch.

@@jefferyfeistel3843 No worries, I understand that most people outside of the competitive sphere saw "bagging is dead" and moved on but no, it just got nerfed a bit - you can't camp a single item set, that's all they changed. It's still very doable but less powerful, even on tracks like Cheese Land.
@@infinategamer9753 Yeah, since I'm not into competitive Mario Kart, I didn't really care about it, though, I did see it as a bit unsportsmanlike, but I can see why people in the competitive sphere do do it.
@@jefferyfeistel3843 It's not exactly unsportsmanlike because it never really puts you at too much if an advantage. It's a risky strategy, only made safe by some specific tracks being easy to take shortcuts on. As such, a track where bagging is preferred is only chosen by somebody already at the back, trying to come back without having to waste time. Worldwides it's less common obviously because most people can't do it effectively

It's not bad, it just gives the smallest speed boost ever. Usually being bumped into a worse line makes spin boosting off another player not worth it!
In electrodome you have that spin boost pillar where the road splits in 2. Do time trials where you hit it and where you dont hit it. You will see that it actually makes you slower. Thats how insignificant spin boost is

realistically bagging on 90% of tracks isn't even that broken of a strategy, in fact it helps as one of the very few consistent strategies against the very rampant middle pack spam.
Now, the last 10% where bagging is optimal is a problem and straight up a flaw of how MK is designed
