@@affi6064 He's referencing the base stats. Zapdos has 253 Attack, G.Zapdos has 252 Attack and Excadrill has 255 Attack. Of course, in practice, the stats are actually lower when accounting for their stat product in all the leagues, but there's no need to call someone a drug addict for referencing base stats. The only way you could know your stat product is if you calculated it on an external website like PvPoke.
Speaking of PvPoke, a defense-weighted 0/15/4 Excadrill (142.5 attack) still beats an attack-weighted 12/1/1 G.Zapdos (141 attack) in CMP.
@@raynl.4683 Well ofc i check actual stats from pvpoke cuz base stats this game are way different than main series, tho main series use speed on value which attack first.
Pokemon go cups are also cp limited instead level, so base stats not tell real truth. only mostly in master league where it is level tied not by cp.

@@affi6064 You said he was giving "random numbers" when what he said was technically true and still reflective of the actual CMP interaction between Excadrill & G.Zapdos. Stat product is literally based on a Pokémon's base stats, and both Pokémon are roughly the same level. Sure, going off base stats alone don't always give the most accurate representation of things, but in this case, Excadrill still beats both Zapdos in CMP by a few points no matter whether you're referencing base stats or stats product.
Honestly, it doesn't even matter considering Excadrill loses the 1-0 shield anyways.

Exc has like 140 att in the GL. He wins CMP over most things, that's pretty good when you consider how spammy it is.

Is shadow dragonite good on dragon breathe or dragon tail?
Dragon Tail is technically a "better" move because it has slightly higher DPS, but Dragon Breath being only 1 turn makes it much more versatile and easier to use so most people run Dragon Breath.
