No other artist of her generation does covers this well. Adds just enough of herself that you know it's her but refuses to overkill the song.

Shes basically a cover artist nowadays. Super talented but i feel she just wants to re create herself as a old school rockstar.
Its as though she wants to be seen in the same way we look back at legends from the old rock scene of the 70-80s.
Shes brilliant and got an epic voice and stage presence but its like shes in dress up.
I am "down the rabbit hole" of Miley. Covid gave me the time to discover all the Backyard sessions and other covers. I often start and then keep listening to them all as they pop up!
Beyond impressed about her ability in this song. She even did a spoken monologue and had to time the break to roll back into the bridge which wasn’t an even 16. She’s a true musician.

Brilliant .Her natural sense of phrasing and feel for the genre simply oozes in this performance and just like Lady G she has an overwhelming respect for her musicians which is sadly lacking in many of her peers who couldn't touch her talent .

good lord - I'm always floored by her vocals but this is quite a challenge and she simply nails it. I love how her voice gets stronger throughout too, shows how comfortable she is with the crowd :) so excited to see her keep flourishing ;

I don't know who the arranger or the producer of Miley's music is lately but their freeking nailing it! The musicians who are wraping around Miley's incredible voice is providing a perfect showcase for her talent, its never overwhelming her or even underwhelming her performance, its just a seamless and organic sound that allows her to do what she does so perfectly. (Can you tell I'm a fan!)
