This reminds me of the scene from Titanic when they pull up the safe and the necklace isn't there but the picture of rose wearing it covered in mud and when they're cleaning it this is what it reminded me of.

What I want to know is why they neglect the corners so much.the rest of the rug gets 8, 10 , or more passes with the scrubber; the corners are lucky if they get one.
Probably because the corners can easily get caught up in the machine

It should have been turned over to cracked the clay off first.
Why not remove all the dry dirt BEFORE washing the rug? It is the most convenient way to remove dirt!

I've watched a lot of these and, yes, I was suspicious how well the mud came off with the first power spray rinse. I thought, if they had continued with the power spray on the front and back BEFORE applying the foam, fancy chemical treatments and the rotating scrubber, they wouldn't have ground in the residue left on and around the rug after that first rinse. Of course, then they would only have a 30 second video.

they should do a weight of the carpet before and after cleaning. It really is amazing how much surface area carpets have. Even if it looks clean, amazing what a steam cleaner pulls out of your carpet. Black water even after vacuuming.

A rug that size, could have been hung on the wall and rinsed off from the beginning, and not used a broom to work the clay, mud into the rugs fibers

Sorry from an AMSR point of view the constant traffic noise ruined it for me. I have called it quits at 11:48 even though the actual rug cleaning was done well, just couldn’t take the traffic noise.

That’s not a rug, it’s a rubber mat, the scrubber did nothing but push the soap off of it, if it was a real rug all the soap would be worked into the fibers

Ok a few things
This rug is clearly some kind of rubber or welcome mat that would normally sit outside (based off the sound it makes when he scraped the water off and how it just isn't really absorbent at all.) that's how it got clean so fast. It isnt exactly easy to cover a rug in cracked dry mud like how it started in this video.
Bro probably doesn't record every rug he cleans. Probably just the really dirty ones that he digs out of dumps and landfills (that's why they are so disgusting)
The rugs we see him clean probably aren't client rugs whether this be for client confidentiality or just the fact that most people do not let their carpets get this bad.
If you use your brain for even a moment you could probably realize that a lot of people would throw out rugs instead of getting them cleaned because it is often cheaper to just buy a new one from a liquidation center or something. Which means there are plenty of rugs just laying around outside getting ridiculously dirty.

The grid strainer thing is smart. All the other carpet cleaners just put it back on top of the dirty area they just rinsed off. It's still dirty.

yeah i've seen a few of these ridiculously caked-on mud carpet cleaning videos pop-up on my feed, and it's so obvious how "even" the mud is, etc and we're supposed to believe ... what ? that this rug lay at the bottom of a peat-bog for 50 years ??
