@@RobertMathieson we did listen and we think Simon is blowing smoke pal. Hes trying to quantify it and the only critical point is that they tried to price everyone else out the market. The inflated wages we have Today is 100% down to the EPL as even teams like Celtic were able to afford the same wages as what the top Italian teams paid. I didn't see Italy try to price everyone else out when Serie A was on fire throught the 90s. I didnt see the big spanish teams do it either untill the EPL had started it.
Premier League spent its own revenues. Saudi is spending Government budget.
