- The Izmi carrier is hands down one of the best newborn specialist carriers on the market. It fits right from the beginning, and comes with a booster cushion to ensure even the littlest newborns can fit (very often even those born early or low birth weight with a bit of fitting help). And it grows! Easy velcro tabs adjust the seat so it can grow with baby to at least a year! The flexible head support means you can support babies head and neck in a number of ways as suits them. As they develop this carrier offers outward facing, hip and back carries too. You can wear the straps crossed or rucksack and they spread for ultimate weight distribution.
Truly this carrier is as close as you can come to a wrap whilst still having the reassuring click of buckles.
These cost £80 and are available in a range of colours through the Sheen Slings webshop here

We offer a free 20 minute online fitting with every carrier purchased to ensure you are completely confident using your new carrier.
We also hire them out so you can try before you buy your own or choose to long term hire for the full fourth trimester period before moving onto something else. Full details here

Hiya
Thank you for your video , it was very helpful for me ☀️
I'm so glad to hear this!
Thanks - super useful!
Glad it was helpful!
Hi! My babys back doesn’t look right in the carrier. It looks s-shaped not c-shape. Do you know How to correct this?
I offer online consults if you would like personalised fit help and going through this step by step sheenslings.com/online-consultations/
Hi I'm looking at which option to go for either this carrier or a sling wrap. I have seen you and another channel mention that the buckle at the ribs i guess is not comfortable for those with bigger breasts?
What would you recommend for someone who is going to be handling day to day with a toddler and wanting a quick and simple option for babywearing whilst still being comfortable if we're a bigger size?
Maybe the Ergobaby Embrace as there is padding under the buckle. Or the Close Parent Caboo. More info about these on my channel and over on my website (sheenslings.com)
Is this the essentials baby carrier?
My first was a very low birth weight so want an adjustable for my second due in December.
No this is the standard/ non essentials. The main difference between this one and the essentials is the essentials is polyester instead of cotton (this on is 100% cotton) and this one comes with the booster seat and has the clip at the back that allows back carrying. For you the main difference is the essentials doesn't have the booster that helps for smaller babies. I do have the standard available in my webshop and or you can often find the booster second hand (and it still fits onto the essential)
