  • The 2024 Loch Arkaig osprey eagle nest successfully hatched its three eggs. Currently the eaglets are around three weeks old. The eldest always dominates the availability of food in the nest brought by the father eagle. Their ancestors inherited this behavior for thousands of years from generation to generation.
However, there is something strange and rare that happens in the world of predatory eagle chicks, in this nest the first eaglet does not dominate the nest but is the child from the second egg to hatch. This second child is very aggressive, he becomes the one with the most power over the food in the nest. The father arrived to bring the prey to the nest, this most powerful man attacked his two brothers, intimidating them so that they would not join the food queue unless he was full. As a result, his two brothers rarely got food and often experienced hunger in their daily lives.
In this video, the two eaglets, the eldest and the youngest, did not get food for a full day from early morning until the evening before they went to bed and the parents stopped hunting activities. However, the most powerful eaglet, the second eaglet, could enjoy food every time his father sent him. the catch went to the nest. He spent the day with a big belly alone and slept soundly.
If you want to see the story of this most powerful man, please watch this video.
The Loch Arkaig Osprey nest is occupied by the osprey pair Louis and Dorcha.
This is the second nest in the 2024 season where they have left the first nest which they used in previous seasons.
The Woodland Trust is the official website for live streaming of osprey nests, which protects trees, restores forests and creates thriving havens for wildlife across the UK, from extraordinary temperate rainforests and precious ancient woodlands to rare Caledonian pine forests such as Loch Arkaig.

Como consegue dominar os dois, é a disputa natural do mais velho e a mãe apoia o mais velho, é cruel a vida desses bichinhos na natureza.😮

Wild life is very hard. 😢. Not enough food . Humans have fish 🐟 as well . Less left for birds n animals

Why are monetising someone else's footage?

youtube policy does not allow channels to load repetitive content that should be underlined so you learn about the repetitive content in question. i create content taken from live streaming cameras there is a lot of discussion about the object of observation of the audience. they take some important snippets of live streaming to be used as content. youtube's sophisticated algorithm can read which content is not worth monetizing because of repetitive content and which is allowed. and I ask you. does the content I create harm you?

These young Osprey's are not cubs! They are either Osplets or chicks. Referring to "cub or cub's" is for baby foxes, baby bears, wolves, coyotes, etc. .
