I'm a Jackie fan. I watched her lose 2 rounds. Her distance closing was poor

The commentator only had eyes for Jackie as well... Saying she was scoring when she actually was eating some counterpunches... Kinda weird....

Didn’t even know she’s Filipino. I already had it in mind she’s some kind of south East Asian. As a filipino, I favor things to be fair and I think can be a draw but Barbie takes it by the edge and is the winner
first 2 rounds were so close it could be scored even or either way but the 3rd round was easily for jackie, throughout the fight her punches and strikes were cleaner while barbie was more swinging and wild misses
Well, I’ll never understand that score by the judges. Combat sports are plagued by poor judging.
It seems most are in agreement the judges got this one wrong!

One is known for going against white and black fighters. They usually give it to the Asian no matter what. That’s why One will NEVER be as big or rich as UFC..

Na y'all blind. It was clear that buntan made more clean and accurate hits than Barbie. Rewatch the video and you'll see
Neither fighter had many significant strikes, but many strikes overall. Barbie had significantly more strikes, did the only visible damage, and defined the fight by her range which kept Jackie from her typical game. I wouldn't say either fighter is superior overall, but Barbie was definitely the winner of this fight, regardless of what some possibly corrupt, possibly inept judges said.

Actually, Buntan had some significant strikes of her own, put more forward pressure on Barbie and was still able to score a knockdown on Barbie despite her range. So all of those variables/factors combined is what made it evident to the judges (and the rest of us with a working pair of eyeballs) that Buntan was most certainly the winner of this fight regardless of what corrupt, possibly inept spectators/fans said.

It’s not a boxing match,but that blondie was “knockdown”.Maybe Buntan has the more accurate/solid strikes that seen by the Judges

Judges get it wrong to often there needs to be a new system for scoring fights. Bad judgment can ruin someone carrier in fighting
That is the second fight I've watched where the fight is stolen from Barbie.
Judges see different fights than the rest of us. Their pov is different, often lower so body shots and low kicks count more than they do from above. They are often effected by where they come from; eastern judges favor the tradition style of their fighters; western judges may over count striking due to boxing background or favor fighters from other regions to prove they aren’t prejudice. But for whatever reason combat sport judging remains incomprehensible second only to ice skating judges at the olympics.
What you say is true. I think judges should be provided with all the video footage without commentary to aid their judging.
I didn't see Jackie do enough to win. That was a poor judgment.

@@sammgold1603 exactly, especially at 3rd round. The 1st and 2nd was pretty close not huge gap. At first round Barbie slightly got the score, on 2nd round it was a draw, at 3rd it was obvious win for Buntan. Overall it was buntan who landed more clean hits

@@danielgaudin1110 No, because Buntan is pretty active. She's pretty flashy compared to her opponents. That's why she got all the attentions, she got the cage presence. If you watch the video her, barbie is kinda on the defense stance all throughout the game. Buntan on the other hand mostly did all the offense. It's normal for the commentators to talk about it.

The worst thing happening to all combat sports around the world is the judging , I used to excuse it as lack of experience , but I have come to believe that it's either pure corruption or extreme bias , because we see it occurring regularly and without any attempts by the sanctioning orgs to try correcting the crime
I didn’t agree with the judges! That’s why it’s always best if you can do it by, KO/TKO or Submission , Dont let it go to distance and have them decide. Period.

Barbie 1 2 draw 3 buntan. Buntan won by more clean hits. No one really dominated all the entire rounds. Buntan won by landing more clean hits and pretty active all throughout the game. We can see in the 3rd round Barbie actually pretty off. Overall hits, it was obvious buntan won. Well, pretty close fight tho tbh. I would love to see a rematch, it seems like not very favorable to other people

I would have have given Barbie all three rounds myself. Jackie just couldn't close the distance without getting punched in the face.

I'm a Filipino but somehow for me Vandaryeva wins this one. I'm not an expert but just how I see it. Respect to both
The fight was really close but Buntan despite being the smaller/shorter is the aggressor always initiating the attacks and landed more precise power punches compare to "Barbie" that obviously has the reach advantage but did not impose her size and reach. She just waited to counter and her punches is less solid just like slapping although sometimes connecting. Buntan should cross train with Team Lakay that would improve her striking arsenal specially the kicking varieties.
I haven't watched this yet but having learned counters before "first fists" years ago that makes great sense. Hopefully that won't turn into boredom LOL!

I didn’t see Butan winning that, Barbie didn’t capitalize on the wide open shots on the right though, all fight, would have ended if she did, with a kick or punch Butan dropped her guard on the right everytime, that should have cost her if Barbie had gone Bruce Lee on her, just part of the thought process in a fight, that might have been what cost her the fight

I’m sorry, but if this fight were full MMA Buntan would have been OBLITERATED by the Barbie Girl. She lost already despite the rigged judges decision, the whole world could count the hits Ekaterina made were many more than the ones Jackie landed. And due to her reach-disadvantage, those hits from Jackie don’t make that much of an impact as well. In MMA she’ll get slaughtered for that disadvantage. She’s VERY good at defense and evasion in the stand-up game. But we all know MMA isn’t much about that. At least not in the women’s MMA.
Jackie is very open to the jab she has poor head movement and her head just sits there. when she comes in all you need to do is step out to the lead foot and throw the jab,
The thing is she is always on fast timing and if you try to relieve to find a way crossing her it's always both too late and too dangerous
