- Want a crock pot recipe that will be delicious and a crowd pleaser? This is the one. I promise every time I make it and someone new tries it they are hooked. It isn't hard at all and it's so tender you can cut it with a fork. The gravy is delicious and you can serve it with rice or creamed potatoes. Hope you try it and let me know what you think.

I made your Crockpot Cubed Steak today for supper. It was delicious! I added a small can of mushrooms (drained) to the meat and made mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli & carrots to go with it. It really changed the texture of the meat. Next time I may not cook them quite as long (I cooked 6 hrs on Low).

Thank you soo much for this recipe!! I have made cube steak 2 times and it was so tough I never bought it again, but when I saw your video I thought I would try it in the crockpot. Well, it was soo good and tender I didn't need a knife it was just like you said like butter. Thanks so much!!(My husband loved it!) Now, I need a recipe for corned beef The one I made this year was so tough I had to throw it out!!

Thanks, this is an easy dish to make, and so good. I make my gravy after browning the steak well and using the pan drippings. I have added a can of diced tomatoes to my beef gravy, it's good eating.
This is favorite of my Mama's.To go with it she fixed mashed potatoes and fried cabbage. Now I can make it in the crock pot.thanks

I drop a few drops of water in pan to see if it's hot enough to fry.

I make a swiss steak that my Mama always cooked that is similar except, it has tomatoes and onions. I also added bell peppers to mine. Mama never really liked the bell peppers in hers but we Love them. ❤

I made it today fixed like you did but I did add a can mushrooms drained so tender best I ever had ty so much and I did thicken the gravy is up a little with sm cornstarch slurry with mashed potatoes and mixed veggie

We had cubed steak a lot growing up because it was fairly inexpensive. Not anymore. I thought the reason they cubed it was because it was from tougher cuts.

May I make 1 suggestion that will be so good for you, Turn Your Phone Sideways while recording. The old saying "Hamburger not Hot Dog" the skinny little strip of video takes so much away from video
Do you have to put cream of mushroom or can you use chicken soup?
Either one is fine.
