I’m 56 years old, 215#. I duck hunt out of the unlimited and it’s super stable. I can sit on the side with waders and it won’t flip. Great for hunting!!!

This video helped me make my decision… wasn’t going to do it, but decided that i’m gonna get one… this is the perfect boat for me… being able to configure it anyway i want, tons of leg room, and the ability to walk around..

That's a stable boat, it's so stable that it's even stable when capsized!

If you add a loop on the end of the rope you can also use it as a step , to help board the yak.

i havent tested the crew, but i can answer you question easy, The unlimited will be more stable.

Aliex, have you done any reviews on the Kaku or Zulu kayaks?, I fish saltwater backcountry waters with bolt on trolling motor and lithium lifepo4 100ah battery. Im looking for new kayak in the 12-13 ft range.

Hey Alex . First at all Thank you for the vid . I’m new in this kayak world, so please let me ask you two questions, to you or to all your followers. First if you guys have to pick a good tandem kayak what would be !?? I was thinking about and ocean old town kayak, but after watching this Nucanoe frontier kayak let me think twice, any suggestions guys,. Please !!
well if you want a kayak that you can use as a tandem but also solo, which is probably what will happen, you will find youself going solo most of the time, the unlimited 12 is a high pick, other options, jackson take two, feelfree lure tandem ii, with one drive, the hobie compass duo, two drives, a more simple kayak, would be the old town malibu xl tandem

If it’s dark as in brown, or copper in colour that’s just the protein(tannins) from the mangroves seeping into the water

Which is more stable the Recon or Unlimited ? Be honest.
This sort of very large kayak is very stable on flat water, but users must not forget that the situation isn't the same when affronting lateral waves. Then large kayaks with higher seats can flip even more easily than narrower kayaks !
This boat is more stable than most on any conditions, but anything flips just wear pfd and know how to get back

Is this more stable than the Hobie Pro Angler 12?
Easy, hobie pro anglers are not as stable as people think
You should put the outboard on it and see if you can flip it like you did the johnny boat. I recently flipped my johnny boat so now im trying to find a kayak that wont flip so damn easy. Last thing i need is to be stranded on a big lake.
The outboard can flip you easy by doing a sharp turn
@@AliexFolgueira yep, i watched your flip over and over trying to understand the physics of why. Is it the same problem with all the kayaks if you put an outboard on them?
@@GregariousAntithesis some kayaks are indeed more stable than others like this unlimited is more stable than Jonny but if you put a heavy outboard on it and do a sharp turn you will find the water

Now to why im writing im pretty close to purchasing the big fish 108 i need advice on cart and also i want you to get credit for the purchase you are the very reason for me wanting the BF108 , im in san antonio Texas im not comfortable ordering via shipping so only dealer is ack i dont like the store in san antonio but may get it from the san marcos store. @@AliexFolgueira if they dont Aliex i will not buy it from them , as a suggestion does your friend in Florida that sells kayaks ship i dont trust shipping but for you buddy absolutely with a caveat would he put together the rudder and 8ball steering so i dont have too. And if possible ask him to send me estimate and cost for it and also include a price for the malone cart. I want the wave Blue 108 with beaver rudder and the malone cart is it possible to get a quote. Ecofishing sells the BF108 free shipping.
I just want to make sure you get great credit on this. Also can you do a post review on the BF108 pro drive after a year of use see if there is a weakness it will be the drive and the very poor warranty of 1 yr. If you know what i mean very disappointing by 3 waters to make a 1yr warranty on the actual core driving mechanism of this outstanding yak.
It is very expensive to ship kayaks, i would just buy it from ack in person and make sure everything is good 👍🏻, thanks for the support bro. Yes they should at least do 2 years warranty
