Taugrim was the only channel Ive seen who plays exclusively with standard ammo and equipment. Haven't seen anyone like him since and his tutorial type play by play analysis was amazing.

@@nephalos666 yeah he had 3-5 gold rounds per tank which he almost never used, only tanks he used gold ammo in were the british HESH tanks

@@agbrenv And why that wouldnt count as loading gold? He paid more to do more damage, same as with any other gold....only difference FV gold fucks you for almost 2k damage
@@durachoks because it has less penetration..... standard rounds have around 300 penetration, while gold has only 230
that's the point, the ammo isn't automatically better in every way, like with the Caliban which has more pen but less damage on their premium ammo and the SU-100Y has more damage on its premium rounds and less penetration
also, you are just hating the guy if you genuinly think he wasn't good, dude was literally calling out the BS WG were doing and was an excellent player as well.... you don't really get better than that

For try hard playing i can see how it could be less than enjoyable experience. I play very casualy and i love the fv4005. Its one of the only tier 10 tanks i find fun to play.

Funny thing is, i like playing 4005 with standard ap. I get tired of waiting for the PERFECT shot to the side. Id rather penetrate most of my shots instead of splash damage for 300 on a heavy
Agreed, but not having the _ability_ to switch to HESH when you are able to penetrate hinders this tank a lot. There's many, many situations where AP is plain better - but being able to pen with HESH for 1750 when you know 230 pen is enough is a godsend.
@@cinatiropel oh dont get me wrong. I have 8 hesh rounds on the tank at all times, and i do use it from time to time with intuition, but i dont carry 80% hesh and press the 2 key from the start like a lot of Fv4005 drivers do.

When i suggeste this challenge to both you and Iyouxin, chat and Iyouxin told me it wouldnt be interesting because it sounded easy. I am happy to see it wasnt.
for iyouxin it would be easy, skill is very good, like really good, but iyouxin is a lot better

As a free to play player i have equipment on some tanks only and shooting standard ammo only with small consumbles u can feel my pain even with no perm acc
Congratulations. I've been playing like that since the beta without a premium account and I still don't use food.
To be honest I do not understand this "budget playing" and using extra rations - I believe 95% of f2p players do not use them due to cost of 20k (10k) per game. Decide - its either full cost gameplay (gold ammo, bond equipment, food) or poor man's choice, nothing in between makes sense to me
Most people dont go in to full pay to win mode due to how much it costs, so its a question of how sustainable your gameplay is. Using only rations and not spamming gold is very sustainable for a lot of players. while going full pay to win is very hard to sustain, mostly due to gold ammo cost

Im surely not in position to tell mr Skill what to do, but probably choosing "doable" challanges would be less painful...
Especially in FV's case since its quite a unique machine with very different "gold" ammo...

Not often i can say it... But i feel your pain Skill 😥 i was losing and i'm still losing my brain cells from time to time it's cool i haven't made a challenge to my self like you even knowing the fact i'm always using small consumable except the automatic fire extinguisher and food... I still haven't aced it in 257 battles this is my challenge for (to ace all tanks i have in garage 600+ and aced 490 only)... There was like 10 penetrations with golden HE... When i got 1.7-1.8k dmg all others were 1.3-1.5 funny fact i almost got the ace tanker in those 257 battles 3 times only...
Wtf even the good games were already like a mastermind, I don't wanna imagine the bad ones....
The deep knowledge of the game you have and your intelligence skill.... You have to make something for humanity if you ever decide to stop playing wot.
i have the 4005 but hard hard battles i have play now 50 battles with it with not such a great s6 :(
What being a free to play player looks like in wot 2023, jokes aside Skill i'm glad you completed that challenge it was horrible watching you loosing brain cells, especially because this game deserves nothing. Stay strong my man and remember to have restrictions to certain tanks in future challanges.😅

Completely threw the first game, could have potentially gotten 9k if you didn't rush to die.
Incidentally I think NO GOLD is easier on this tank lol, thats how I got my marks.

don’t worry there are certain tanks that he doesn’t mark with no gold, like cobra, the reason he played fv is because he didn’t thunk it was hard, turned out is was wrong, we won’t see him play 183 anytime soon

I can tell u king baboon, that maybe this tank is boring to play because its slow, paper etc. Maybe is hard to play, but its damn entertaining :)
