The Old Republic was so terrible rogue corporations could literally take over entire planets and the republic was powerless and inept to do anything about it. That's like PepsiCo annexing Los Angeles and the US government being like "Sorry we don't know what to dooooooo.". Can't pull that kinda crap with The Empire.

I'm a big KOTOR fan, and I've played TOR on and off since launch, and it was really fascinating hearing everything kind of laid out like this. The galaxy never gets much of a rest, huh? I'd love to hear you talk about KOTOR and KOTOR 2 more in depth, as the second game alone is wonderfully complex in its themes and characters. Plus I feel like characters like Scion, Nihilus, and Traya are fan favorites at this point. I wonder if we'll ever see them re-introduced into canon, much like Thrawn?

I'd be very excited to see those return to canon, Thrawn particularly I think was extremely well done and is one of my favorites (it helps the original author wrote the new canon books!)
