I finished watching Squid Game and i loved it a LOT so i decided to make smth abt it- i haven't made anything like this in a while too so i'd thought it'd be nice to upload on my channel again while i'm at it :]

Jun-Ho is such an underrated character. He was able to go undercover as a worker, go undercover as a server, and hide from the other workers for entire days just to try to find and help his brother.
He planned everything amazingly from working to the VIP room, and I’m so glad that when it got to the VIP room he didn’t try to “keep his cover”.
His last moments were so sad because you just know he didn’t have anything to live for anymore. What was the point of trying to be good if everyone around him had given in to corruption?
So this is something i was thinking about for a while after watching squid game :
I think that the whole jun-ho mission to expose the game was pointless ... Why?
So let's go back to the prize okay , so after the last player win the game the association put the money in his bank account and this was confirmed in the last episode , and as a player you are full of dept first by the government itself , second by someone else .. the government knows this (they know you don't have money) so if you suddenly receive a huge amount of money like the prize , normally this is going to be sus they are going to start investigation around it ( probably even arrests you to question you about it ) and as the main character was jobless (he don't have a legal outcome) so they may suspect him working with the black market , or doing illegal business ...
But in the series (as far as we know) they didn't investigate him (even the bank itself treated him as an important client) which mean the government already know about the game this is why even if Jun-ho succeeded to expose them probably the police won't be able to do a thing and the government will try to hide the whole story.
I have other things to that supports my theory (related to the island , the way they take people , the way they choose people, from where they get the info ...)

I think he isn’t dead. A rule is if you don’t see them actually die, it’s fair game. We saw him get shot and fall into the ocean. Depending on how he fell he could survive that. He’s a fighter and smart, I could see him being quick on his feet. Maybe he had a bulletproof vest, I dunno.
I really think we’re gonna see him again if there’s a S2, maybe team up w 456

The frame where he says “satisfied?” and the small light circles in his pupils is the part is the part where the VIP gets a little.. freaky with Jun-Ho. Luckily Jun-Ho makes a strategy quickly and manages to take control, saying, “Satisfied?” and then he records the unmasked VIP the things he knows about the game.

When I was watching squid games, and seeing Jun Ho sneak into the building, blend in with the workers, and constantly swap uniforms for so long without getting caught, I was thinking "is this a actual police officer, or a Korean agent 47"?

Jun-ho is so underrated, he was my favorite p.o.v so I was so glad to see this and the art is super cool! And I have convinced myself that he is still alive and will come back in season 2. Sure he was shot but he fell into the ocean and characters never die when that happens and there is so much more with him and his brother to be explored.

I'm just gonna say it, I strongly doubt he died. It really seems like they're setting something else up for his storyline and his relationship with his brother, plus of the main characters that we follow throughout the first season, only two of them didn't have their death shown, 001 and Jun-Ho. He fell into the water implying that he had died, but we never see his body. I'm convinced that he somehow survived that.

My-my! I think we have a _underrated artist_
I never realised how well this goes with squid game.
Ironically, his whole story is completely useless to the plot, since he doesn't get to send any information to anybody. Appart from that, he's just... there, at some moments, but doesn't really interfere much with whatever is happening in such scene. The "important" things he did were killing guards number 28 and 29, incappacitating a v.i.p. and revealing the leader's identity to the public, he being one of the winners of the previous games.
