sir, which subject is better of public health? community nutrition or epidemiology?I am from Bangladesh.....i have to know which subject is best for my career...i want to a bachelor degree on this subject...from any reputed university...(please give your opinion .it is very important for me)
Be careful with certain terms. Epidemic for instance refers to occurrence of cases in excess of normal and should not be equated with "killing a lot of people". Likewise sporadic should not be equated with "low killing power". For instance you may have Rabies which is sporadic in Community A (occurrence irregularly with low magnitude) however has high case fatality rate (number of cases dying in every 100) of up to 66%. So both sporadic, epidemic refers to morbidity (presence of ill health) rather than mortality (death).
I
You're very correct... Affects can replace kills.

your first graph lack the time constraint. Your explanation focuses on Descriptive Epi according to place. If the time is specified, then it will be more powerfull
Would you be able to discuss the difference between prevalence and incidence?
Prevalence is defined as the total number of cases of any disease occured from the begining (when the first case was diagnosed) to till now.
Incidence is defined as the new number of cases occured within one year. For example, 1000 cases of diabetes in 2019.

The only truth spoken in this video is that "you are not expert in epidemiology & you don't know much about it".
I think you are a student from IIN or kind of thing.
Please do some more research & clear your concepts before making such videos.
Let this job to be done by experts only.
Replace this video with more accurate & knowledgeable one, if possible.
+adhbarot this video is targeted to common people to introduce the term epidemiology
I am not asking you to give knowledge in depth. I am talking about the concepts.
For example, take your graph. You have mentioned "Time" on X-axis & then plotted Regions on that axis. Concepts of Epidemic, Endemic & Pandemic are also not true. & Mainly your concept of Epidemiology is also wrong buddy. Its not just an analytical study. It is more than that.
Yes, I completely agree with you. This guy got the concept of epidemiology completely wrong.
I am sorry. You got the concept of epidemiology completely wrong. Please remove this video.
You are not making the right sense about terminologies.
Terminologies not expalined well
