God, Tan Jianci is such a great actor. That scene where he is letting her go to Tushan Jin is heartbreaking. He smiles knowing that she will be with the one she loves. But then he looks so sad and has tears in his eyes knowing he will never be the one. Yet then he smiles again as if to say it's okay because she will be happy. He had me in the palm of his hand with all those emotions on his face! Bravo!
True. He was able to be FangFeng Bei and be by her side when she needed him for that brief companionship. Now, knowing he can't be the enduring companion, he sends her on to Tushan Jing to be happy. Tan Jianci's ability to show all this emotion in his eyes and face is just amazing.
That demon always breaks my heart. He shows her a cold face when in reality he loves her so deeply he is willing to let her go to someone who can stay with her as she wants most. Since he knows he has a mission that will result in death on the battlefield he knows it is not him. His love is truly selfless in a sense. He wants her happiness. I would wish he would give his mission up and stay with her but that is just me. I guess he wouldn't be who he is if he did. He is so loyal. I am grateful to see him whenever he appears.
He breaks my heart too I get emotional over his character because I understand his root core problem of not feeling loved therefore he believes he's not deserving of love. Wouldn't it be great in the author wrote a future lifetime where the 2 of them had a harmonious lifetime together. Our 9 headed demon deserves it.

Asking his love rival for help to stop the girl he loves wedding... I will say this, Jing is bold for what he did. That took a lot of guts to ask Xiang Liu to help him. That conversation that Xiaoyao had with Jing. You have to feel for her. She's admitting she's not who Jing thought she was. She's not as innocent as she seems. She's done some things to him and others that no one knows about. Things that she's not proud of. And now she's reaping the consequences of her actions.
True. Jing told that he was drugged by his grandmother. But rather than supporting him, she broke up with him. He was basically betrayed by the person he trusted the most and abandoned by the person he loved the most. Yet he held no grudges against either. This is why Jing is my favorite...

How do they not fit to you?! The granddad has explained 2x what she wants for her life and that is something only Jing can give her. Because XL loves her doesn’t mean she has to be with him and love him back the same way, her love has always been for Jing. She even admitted to it when he was in his Coma season 1.
If you can’t see that Xiang Liu is not the one for her, you must like toxic relationships. This man has been abusing her since season 1, it’s funny how yall look past that. Doesn’t matter if he is doing it to keep a distance from her it’s still wrong. He only stopped the wedding because Tushan/Shiqi asked him to not because he couldn’t watch her marry another. I love that she realized she also plays a part in the difficulties and trials they have faced in their relationship. Not everything is Tushans fault nor is it really hers but the things happening around them. I also love her realization that she has been one sided and has never really done anything for Tushan (other than healing him at the beginning). He has risked his life several times for the love he has for her. He was willing to follow her into the afterlife when they couldn’t get out of the fire.
Xiang Liu what I see in him is he does love her unconditionally. He knows from the beginning that he will not betray his step father. X.L. root core problem is he never felt he was loved therefore he's not deserving of being loved. Remember the poisonous bug will claim them to die together only X.L. who was a master of using poison. The only time he couldn't control it was when X. Spoke words that hurt him and he made her swim back to where Jing was waiting. Everything he does my seem like abuse in the end I see him as loving her to the point of sacrificing himself.
