This isn't how this song goes. They have changed the words to have no meaning. If you give away peace or joy, that means you don't have any left. IJS

I have been looking for this song and finally found one that has the same lyrics and melody with what I used to know since most videos I ended up with sounded new to me. We're taught to sing this way, so as the lyrics, since we're still kids hence this video.
I understand what you're trying to say. I figure out maybe this is just how we used to sing it in the Philippines. I happened to listen to a cassette tape with the the same lyrics and melody in this video back then and it's not sang by Filipinos though.
Btw, I am from the Philippines.
I happened to meet these guys in one of our major activities in South Korea. I believe this video was made on the same year that I was also in South Korea as a missionary teacher. They had this idea as a project for each conferences for the missionaries under the 1000 Missionary Movement in SK to make a video of action songs so we could compile them. 😊

I didn't mean to offend anybody. I just think the song is perfect with Malvina's words and melody. I love Filipinos, and believe that they have natural talent for singing or performing.

Melody is a bit different from the Author Malvina Reynolds but great, generous performance
