DIY Giant SEASHELL and MERMAID Costume

    Materials that I used to create the shell:
    1) Styrofoam
    2) Wire brush
    3) Sandpaper
    4) Polymer glue
    5) Glue gun
    6) Putty
    7) Primer
    8) Paint

    1) Metal tape
    2) Plastic sheets
    3) Decorative silicone
    4) Paint on plastic
    5) Material with sequins

    Hi how are you, I'm trying to make a shell for a video clip and this video is saving my life, I wanted to ask you if you used sandpaper to make the protuberances and what liquid you used, is it paint or some type of sealant? sorry my inglish is not good

      @@paostrippin Hello. I made the shape of the shell using a wire brush and sandpaper. The shell was covered with rubber paint.

    I looked at your measurements for the sea shell and I'm having trouble understanding. What do you mean by 0,4m?

      Thank you! Yes, it is collapsible. The two parts were made separate and transported by car. They were secured in place with L-shaped metal beams.

      Hello. The upper part rested on two L-shaped beams behind the shell, repeating the shape of the shell; it was not attached to the lower shell.

      @@SherryFanous I used polymer glue and gun glue to attach the shell petals. You can find all the materials I used in the description. Styrofoam can be found in any hardware store.

    What unit of measurement is this? I can’t get google to convert it into inches.

      It is centimeters. Google converter from cm in inch.

    what did you use to make the sea shell and the measurements đŸ„Č, I'm tyring to do this myself with a musical coming up for school and I have no clue how to start until I saw this video but don't know the measurements or what u used PLSSS THIS WILL HELP ME SO MUCH 😭

      one more question for the Styrofoam what are the unit measurements like how big and think is it and how many pieces did u use and for the bottom piece of the shell did u also DIY it as well or did u buy it?

      ​@@sotocon Both pieaces of seashell are the same. For both parts I used 11 units of storyfoam measuring 1*0.5*0.1m.
