With England benefitting from the softest of all draws, and generally getting the rub of the green, why presume a biased ref would be against us?
especially when the Germans seriously hate the Dutch when it comes to football... German's hardly register England as a rival. It's all one way our rivalry with ze germans.

Well , after the English unleashed Anthony Taylor - the demon ref from hell - onto the world đ , the Germans retaliating in style , seems only fair really. đ
Taylor was awful ; theres no excuse for dishing out so many yellows , but on the Cucurella handball he was absolutely correct. Can't believe all the German whining about it.

as for the arm incident - you must not watch a lot of international football then - since they introduced that new rule , there have been plenty of penalties awarded for even the smallest of contacts in the box of a defender's arm/hand with the ball - and intent does not matter.
Even throughout this very same Euro 2024 tournament.
if that thing isn't a penalty - even under the old rule back in the late 90s early 00s - i dunno what is ?
maybe go consult an ophthalmologist.
as far as Taylor goes , you must not be watching domestic football either - even in the Prem he is feared for his abysmal decisions.
oh and last but not least , let's not forget about his dodgy refereeing during the Roma final , which rightfully angered good old José - and led to the now infamous airport chants against Taylor and his clan.

Drop Kane because he's mince. Watkins has pace to break behind the Dutch line. Look at how the Turkish centre forward gave Van Dijk problems by running in behind. If Kane plays it's slippers and cigars for the Dutch defence.
Kane is our joint top scorer, and hasn't even played well. THAT is why anyone who truly knows football, knows why kane is a big deal, and that is why he will start.
Germans hate the Dutch... England are not considered a rival by Germans. It's a one way rivalry. I'd be far more concerned if I was Dutch than English in this situation.

The ref has already done 2 or 3 games at the euros but no mention of it earlier on, only when its England, its sad really
England drop deep because opposition defences push up. Kane is never going to run in behind them and if he does his not getting aways. With Watkins we would always have him making runs in behind and opposition defences would have to be careful. Add Trent to that mix and a few runs from Watkins all of sudden we look like a deadly team. At the moment all our football is being playing infront of opposition def. Super easy. Sake is only one trying to dribble in behind
That's why Saka at LWB would be deadly in addition to unpredictable.
Both are rapid (Saka being better defensively) while Trent is possibly the most technically gifted player in the squad while being the best crosser in the tournament

There are only two refs you want to see for important games at this level: Daniel Orsato or Szymon Marciniak. Period. But, we get the Temu version of proper refs like Anthony Taylor or Felix Zwayer. Sad, really.
