Make OGA'S OBSESSION at Home! [Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge]

- We made Oga's Obsession, the delicious provision found inside Oga's Cantina in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! According to the menu at both Disneyland and Disney World, Oga's Obsession is made out of Odwalla Lemonade, Cotton Candy Flavor, and Blueberry Popping Pearls with a bursting Dried Fruit Mixture.

I made this at the beginning of quarantine too! The pop rocks are actually unflavoured popping candy. You can find them on amazon as ‘culinary crystals’. Also made my own popping pearls to get clear ones using blueberry flavouring and reverse spherification

Try the dollar store for pop rocks. My dollar tree carries them and cotton candy. Once I got bacon cotton candy there.

After WEEKS of searching for the ingredients online (your list was very helpful by the way), locally, and through some questionable smugglers in Mos Eisley, I was finally able to make Oga's Obsession. It turned out GREAT! The only change I made was to rinse the boba in cold water before placing them in the petri dishes, to help keep the color of the gelatin. I made a big batch, but that's gone now, so I'll be making more tomorrow! Thanks for the super helpful video demonstration. :-)

When I saw the Country Time lemonade mix I laughed so hard. When I was in school the staff would always make some for students after school ended. They never followed the directions and the ratio was way off. They always added too much powder and made the lemonade neon yellow(way brighter than what was in the video). I always joked that it would be able to glow in the dark. 😂

8:12 Maybe you can make blueberry-flavored fake caviar? Or boba tea? I really don’t know, they seem like such a niche item, so there aren’t that many recipes with them
I've made these by my own recipe at home. Use mango popping pearls instead of blueberry. Trust me.... it is awesome and looks more accurate. I also used lime jello rather than the lemonade mixture, and it was amazing

Frozen yogurt places usually have the popping pearls at their toppings bar & will sell them to you by weight if you want a smaller amount. IDK if they'd necessarily have the blueberry flavor ones but it could be worth a shot. I cannot wait to make this at home! Thank you so much for bringing a little Batuu to us! To the spire!

That looks so good guys! I’m going to have to try it! I think I can snag some Petri dishes from the micro lab upstairs from where I work...as long as I make them some yummies too. You’re both after my my own heart because we drink Coke Zero as well. I bet Disney has their popping pearls custom made which is why they’re white instead of black. You may have to start putting popping pearls into all of your drinks. 😄 As usual...another fun video!

That is amazing. Now I have to make this. I actually have the petri dishes on hand (cause science) so I just need to buy the ingredients. I wonder if carefully rinsing the boba in water would limit the color expansion, or if that might dilute the flavor. Either way, this looks great. 😀 Congratulations!
Jello-making tip: put the Petri dishes on a tray. That way you can more easily put them all in the fridge at once instead of balancing the dishes four separate times.

Kitra, I am similar ------- asking my boyfriend to please take care of the steps or procedures which scares me. Peter, you are soooooo super sweet!!!!!! You both are my favorite couple here on YT. Kitra is gorgeous, her eyes are expressive, filled with kindness and hilarious sense of humor. Peter, love how you are unafraid of saying that you enjoy the sweet cocktail drinks especially when other male friends I know are fearful of being called, "girly man" as famously said by Arnold Schwarzeneggar. LOL!!!!! This is a trait many women admire in a man which is confidence to be who you are and not trying to be someone you are not. Be true to ourselves should be our motto.

Thank you for making all these Disneyland food and desserts plus the links so we may purchase the items whenever we are ready to venture into cooking. I am no cook at all, in fact, my boyfriend is a wonderful cook/baker, LOL. When I made scrambled eggs which I actually enjoyed, he took just one forkful and stopped. Peter, are you as critical if Kitra's cooking were not up to par? Hahahaha, I adore and love my dear boyfriend very much , he does have a great sense of humor and is very kind/generous.

I loved this in Oga’s! Just a tip if you have a build your own frozen yogurt place a lot of them have the popping pearls. You can probably buy a small cup for a couple bucks.
