  • Africa Amaze released a video on how to shoot a multiangle scene with a single camera and then followed it up with a video on how to acquire sound for that scene. I'm reacting to his tips on sound acquisition in this video.

Thanks, very respectful and informative. I'll take care with how the cable is mounted on the pole.

I didn't think I would follow through up to the end, but I did - and there were always little elements where I learned something. Well done !

Oh, no Koolertron. The brand that shall not be named! That's the one I was talking about that I wouldn't mention. :/ The H1s defaults if it comes unplugged. Also, that is about as plugged in as the H1s gets. I guess it depends on what cable you are using. But from what I recall, when I was using the smaller Zooms, I was always worried that it would come unplugged. Usually I would add some gaff tape just to make sure.

They are doing the best they can with the resources he has. I support that entirely. Good to know though.

It looked like that 1/4" to 1/8" adapter that was being used had a little bump to help with cases and recessed headphone ports. So it would stick out even more than it needed to. Either way that's where a short 1 foot extension would come in handy. I hate doing anything with adapters that ends up like that it just ends up creating a giant lever guaranteed to break equipment if not very carefully handled.

hey sound speed, ive got a question of what happened today on my pc, okay so i was just playing some games on my pc after that me and my friend are just chatting and talking in discord then i suddenly felt my electric fan changed speed even tho its still on number 3, but the when i changed the speed when whenever i change the speed level of my electric fan my earphone or headset started to make noise, like tick sound whenever i turn on and off my fan specially when its on the highest number of speed and change it to lower level it makes that tick sound, it sounded like unlpugging a microphone out of a speaker which freaks me out,.

Is the fan electronically controlled? Or does it use clunky buttons? My guess is there is some electronic interference being generated either by the fan motor or the control circuit assuming remote controlled that's getting picked up on some unshielded cable. and or you have some thing introducing a static charge which is messing with the fan controls. If it's an IR remote it could be something else using the same code triggering the fan (I have a DTV converter remote which also controls a VGA switch as I found out one day). Do you live in a dry climate? Definitely recommend checking out some of the electro boom videos on static electricity and computers specifically the Collab with LTT.

@@imark7777777 turns out it was a faulty outlet, hired a electrical to find an issue turns out the copper anf fiber were too old and now green instead of bronze, and some loose wire, makes the fan and pc react funny and some kernel events
