Purpleheart is CITES listed so when existing stocks are used up there will be no more! I think american black walnut is probably OK but European walnut ( juglans regia ) is on the list. Any woods on the list cannot be exported or imported and anyone selling items made from listed woods must provide documentation Happy woodworking!! Regards from Redruth Arnold
