When I first fought it, I thought its spikes paralyzed you, but when I found out they only had a higher likelihood to stun I was pretty disappointed…
Yea, green Narga was literally just a tad bit more Nargacuga than normal fight wise. St least some of the weapons had para with awakening/free element
At first, beacuse of the precedent set by other subspecies in 3u, i had felt the same. But i actually grew to respect the restraint to just slap a status or element onto green narg. Its boring like azure and pink rath, but it is a much more gronnded decision, more realistic. Sometimes individuals of a species, for one reason or another, are a different color, and a simple, organic pigment change wouldnt also give them powers. Idk i guess i started liking him more in retrospect as i got into the spec bio side of mh
I was happy at the same time lol, why be happy about him paralyzing u? I like when same monster but different specie has similar attacks.

I love how 3u long sword actually makes gauge management important, getting spirit bar and reaching red gauge actually takes time, effort, and proper use of openings
Yeah cuz you have no counters in this game duh, obviously it's gonna take time and be more difficult to get
3u was the best iteration of longsword imo,,, dont get me wrong countering is so much fun, but 3u ls felt like an actual sister weapon to greatsword bc you had to know when to poke, what move to open with, fade slash in the right direction, manage your gauge etc
that added layer of thinking and strategy made me love the weapon even more than in fu
@@kaiiizen8626 Nah man, freedom unite LS. you don't have to worry about spirit levels. just go in and attack the monster until full gauge and you got the attack buff. but to each their own I guess. :p
@@dragumkirisute1998I actually think tri had the insane balance of both. If you kept hitting spirit slashes while in red it would just reset over and over and over meaning you’d never lose red gauge if you were decent at finding that last attack
If they took away the ability to skip entire spirit levels just by doing one move and instead making counters reward the player by letting gain more gauge per attack it would be way more balanced in my opinion.
Watching you use the fade slash to dodge attacks and reposition to hit his head made me realize how badly I actually miss old gen longsword.

@@daethmer7834 except now it would be 10x less effective because of how monsters are designed. Yes you can do it, but it wouldnt be as effective as before.

I like seeing you use the whole longsword moveset, in the newer games with all the different ways to build up meters and the counters it feels like part of the base kit gets thrown away. I also respect the not getting greedy with the spirit roundslash, every time I saw the end of the combo I expected it but very soon after saw why you didn't.
The base kit got super powercrept by the new moves, and I hate that

Its relevancy was saved by giving Silverwind and regular narga his moves in GU.
On that note, 3U was a fun game.
Even tho I only played it entirely solo since I played the 3DS version up to Abyssal, it was a fun game.
So bizarre seeing the 3DS version of 3U, I am used to the Wii U version.

I feel like green narga would work so much better on a map that had greens like he does like a meadow or something like that. He could also be darker to blend with most leaves but then he might become less different from base narga. Would love to see him back though and great video.

There's something quite funny about the fact that they thought to make a proper shadow for the hunter, but then didn't actually connect it so that it looks like your character is just hovering mid-air at all times.

looking between different database apps and charm guides, i've never found a handicraft 3 expert 10
but there is a handicraft 4 expert 10 in table 14

the issue is creating a charm that doesn't exist and if you wanna skip the grind you should check the list and create a real one instead...

is that green? sorry 😓, I have a little trouble seeing it in green, in any case no, I don't remember it but it is beautiful. the only thing that scares me in this generation is the sharpening which is limited.... we could come back to the Camp, reassure me 😳, that... that never changed... huh?

If you have Stun Resistance, he is pretty much just a regular Nargacuga with more health and more damage output.
Still not a bad monster, but a rather disappointing subspecies.

You may remember who green narga is, but you definitely forgot how charm system works in MH3U because your charm doesn't belong to this game, actually. If you want to inject charms, don't just inject the charm Athena gives you. They use the minimal skill point value required to make your set possible.
The correct charm is +4 Handicraft, +10 Expert ---

If you want to cheat charms at least do it properly, man. The only handicraft /expert charms existent in MH3U are handicraft+1 expert+10 and handicraft+4 expert+10. Your charm doesn't exist.
I'm pretty sure table 13 has it.

@@PeppoLSI'm sorry but it doesn't. You should check the official charm programs for MH3G/MH3U where you can find a complete list of charms. T13 doesn't have it. It only has Handicraft +3 Expert+8
@@Rose_MH3U Well I'm sorry but all the sources I found in both english and Japanese tell me that the charm do exist and it's in the 13th table. Even Athena Charm search says it exists and it's in the table 13.
@@PeppoLSIt's impossible lol you are probably using Athena's ASS which gives you the minimum value necessary to make that set. This doesn't mean the charm indicated by Athena exists and it's legit. The only legit charms with Handicraft and Expert+10 are indeed Handicraft+1 Expert +10 or Handicraft+4 Expert+ 10 according to Athena Charm table search and MH3G Dex. You can also ask any MH3U speedrunner to confirm what I said. Even though they already confirmed it writing other comments similar to mine.
Also I don't want to start any discussion especially because your charm doesn't make any difference at the end of the day. However, I think it's important to not spread misinformation on a game that already has a lot.
