- Hey guys!! Today I wanted to sit down and film a video trying out Clinique makeup!! Even though I’ve known about the brand for so long, I have NEVER tried their makeup! Isn’t that crazy? Ohhh, you make me smile. I was in high school when Clinique appeared at the department store, and at the time it was REVOLUTIONARY. The SA's in lab coats! The three-step skincare program! A department store brand that treated acne instead of just wrinkles and lines! OMG! Clinique deserves mad respect because it has always stayed in its own lane. It doesn't dupe other brands, it employs the latest research and expands its line, but keeps the favorites that work (Almost Lipstick in Black Honey, anyone? I have a tube in my car console as I type). It maintains its kind of low-maintenance-science-y profile and doesn't aim for the sex drive. Even its mega-popular fragrance is the innocuously named "Happy."
Clinique doesn't jump on bandwagons. It doesn't have to. It WAS the ORIGINAL bandwagon for grownup young women who were determined to take care of themselves.
^^ so much THIS :) ^^ Estee, Lancome, Arian Arpel, Elizabeth Arden were all very thick and rich formulas for what I considered "more mature" skin, and their shades were not very realistic or flattering like Clinique's were. Still love Clinique!

Black honey is the ultimate my lips but better lippie. Burt’s bees tinted lip balm in red dahlia is a spot on dupe for it !
My first lip product I remember loving ( other than the Bonne Bell Lip Smackers of course) was the Clinique lip pots. A thick lip balm I a small pot. Loved it! Started me on higher end make up!
I love Clinique, there is a reason it has been around for ever and it seems younger people are more drawn to make up artist and influencer brands. Glad you tried it out.

I LOVE clinique! They're most of my skincare routine, and I also have their even better refresh foundation and it's my absolute favourite. I've never had anything from clinique that I didn't like honestly. I wish more young people used it, they really have the "your skin but better" kind of foundation down, and the refresh is totally buildable up to a fuller coverage! I just wish they had more shades for paler skin

See I always thought of Clinique as “grown up” /“old lady” makeup. I’m 30 and still feel too young to wear it. My mom was never a big makeup person- she wears it but it was like “I put it on and go” not someone who taught her daughters and got excited about it all so.. I learned everything from magazines. And now CZcams. I wasn’t a big youtuber consumer when beauty gurus all started out, ive only recently jumped on the wagon, lol

I better my mom to take me to the drugstore last week (I'm 12 andI'm only just starting to wearing very light makeup cause mom is pretty strict😭) and I ended up getting a Clinique highoighter, a gift set (Clinique overnight mask, serum, black honey lipstick and mascara)and a Nyx brow gel and she wants me to try use it as a clear mascara cause no store actually sells a clear mascara😭But my mom doesn't wear makeup anymore, but she was telling the kind lady who was helping me choose what I want (bro I never knew makeup store employees were so nice😭😭) that she was wearing Clinique makeup when she was my age (💀) and today she has a perfume (Clinique Happy) and I think she's so cute for that.Anyway, point is your right, moms LOVE clinique💜💛💛💛💛💜💜💛💜💜💗I swear my mom is so cute😭

My mom would help me pick out products and shades from this brand when I was first getting into makeup, but the closest place that sells Clinique has a rep and they try to get you to buy more so I stopped looking through their section.

Okay but isn't there high impact mascara hard to get off or is it just me. It doesn't say anything about it being a waterproof mascara . I absolutely love it and how amazing it makes my eyelashes look but when it comes to removing it , it's the most difficult mascara to take off that I've ever used . I honestly had to stop using it because of that reason ...

Kaitlyn Lane Same! I’ve tried every high-end water gel cream, and Moisture Surge is one of my faves. It leaves your skin looking so dewy and hydrated, and leaves your skin feeling *so* silky!
I read so many good reviews on moisture surge so I bought a huge tub of it but theres so much silicone in it I feel its not actually moisturizing, its just a barrier on top of the skin and doesn't sit under my makeup well :/ kinda disappointed.

Yuk! I have a lot of that because it is in the bonuses, but is Clinique’s worst product. I also give it away. Nothing is better at removing makeup than Pond’s Cold Cream! I use that, then wash my face with cleanser.
In Ulta's recent add I just received it shows it on sale on January 11th half off!! ONLY that day.

clinique was the first brand of skincare that my mom got me started on when I was about 12 - I'm still using it 10 years later! it has worked absolute wonders for my skin and I hardly hear anyone talk about their products. I just purchased the chubby stick and I LOVE it!😍 I'll definitely be repurchasing👌🏼

Clinique is literally the only foundation I have found that doesn’t break me out. It’s the only one I can use! It’s frustrating but saves me from trying all the new foundation releases.

You should have tried the High Impact EXTREME VOLUME mascara!!! It's my holy grail. The effect is UNREAL! Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm is also one of the best makeup removers out there.
They have a moisture surge face spray i use as a setting spray. I can't use most setting sprays because of denat alcohol

That mascara is my all time favorite mascara! And their blush pops are good, and I love their lip products! Their moisture surge lip balm is the only product I have found that really helps heal my atopic chapped lips!

I love everything from Clinique I have ever used. I do not own a lot from this brand but I’m in love with the eyeshadows, eyeshadow palettes, lipsticks, and skin care products I have from them. It is the only brand that has never let me down. I never regret buying Clinique.

Thanks for this video. After years of trying different foundations, I would say that Clinique is such a “foundation brand for me” . My favorites are : anti blemish foundation (probably it’s only the name for Europe, here in US I think it’s Acne solution ) , for everyday - Acne solution BB (or anti blemish - it has different names ) , oh my - it’s so glowing and silky , not mat , just with salicylic acid and not clogging my pores; even better - love too , all in one - love . Please try more of their foundations ;)

Clinique is one of the most underrated makeup lines. The quality for the price point is excellent. I honestly haven’t had a Clinique product I didn’t like with one exception: the mascara. I don’t know if it was the particular version I was using or what, but it flakes and smudged horribly. Other than that, solid line of products and the fact you enjoyed them doesn’t surprise me!

I've always liked the foundation from clinique, I've never gotten into a lot of other products from them but they carry a lot of classic, pretty and understated makeup which I really enjoy on most days!
I absolutely love Clinique makeup! The high impact mascara, their matte pressed powder, and their blushes are my favorite. Over the holidays they release a blush, highlight, bronzer and matte powder set for around $29.99. It's phenomenal value. I have also noticed that when I shop Clinique in Ulta, I get offers mailed to me each year. I have just received a free foundation of my choice which is very welcome! Outstanding things to try are the City block clay mask which turns into a scrub when you wet it. Also the Clinique super primer universal face primer and Clinique moisture surge face hydrator 😍 I loved the way your makeup turned out Allie!

As a teen, I used to get the three step skin care set for my birthday every year. It worked great for me then, but not so much now. However, my every day foundation is their Superbalanced foundation. I LOVE the finish.
Clinique is by far my favourite makeup brand, and I've tried a lot of things. The pretty easy liner is fantastic, the even better refresh foundation as well, the beyond perfection concealer, the chubby sticks intense, the Pop lipsticks, the matte pop lipstick... Give them a try!
The Even Better foundation is my favorite foundation hands down. I am VERY picky and 46 with very dry skin. It always just looks like perfected skin on me. It is also literally the only foundation that has a perfect shade for me, and I am really fair. Everything other foundation I have tried either looks dry on my skin or just does not go fair enough.
The Clinique Even Better GLOW version is amazing!! Light buildable coverage that leaves a beautiful luminosity on the skin ✨✨

I use the moisturizer it’s amazing! I use the gel based dramatically moisturizer for oily skin it’s great for oil control only moisturizer that doesn’t cause me to breakout. 🥰

I LOVE Clinique and I wish more people talked about it. Thankful you finally tried and did a full face. Also yes, there are drugstore lipstick colors similar to Clinique’s,but honestly far from comfortable. I have chronic chapped lips and Clinique lip products hydrate my lips in a healthy nourishing way. I wish I would’ve tried them sooner in my life.
I'm so happy you tried them out! The uplighting powder is one of my favorites as well. I'm not a big highlighter fan, but if I do wear it, this is the powder I use bc it's a subtle but beautiful highlight. And yes you should def try the even better foundation! It's one of my favorite foundations

With the loose powder, I would suggest Transparency number 2. I'm very fair in complexion like you and that is the one that works best on me. It has a slight pink undertone opposed to the more golden one you used. The formula is amazing, it feels and looks so satin on the skin. Definitely a stand out product from the brand in my opinion. :)

I’ve been loyal to their mascara for years. Lash Doubling is Holy Grail status, and High Impact is a close 2nd place. I also love the cheek pop blushes. ❤️

Any of the products that you got at ulta, like the bronzer, there’s more shades at department stores/online! Ulta only carries the more “famous” products! I love clinique. Thanks for using it all! I feel like it’s super underrated!

Even on this side of the video, I could see the powder yellowing! Wow. The foundation is gorgeous though! Honestly the lilac chubby eye crayon looks beautiful on your eyes. 🌻🤗
