A new adventure begins! Hello Kazakhstan, let me know if I have any Kazak viewers in a comment below. Everyone else, let me know what you think of the video and what you would like to see more or less of, I really appreciate your constructive criticism, *positive and negative.* Thank you! 🤓💗
Indigo Traveller Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan if you can visit all of them and Russia too. I love dealing with Kazakhstan people on Ebay!
I want to see what you eat in all these parts of the world :-D but I already said that last year haha. Great video. Kazakhstan blew my mind, it looked more like the USA! Very unexpected.
It just means that the eastern countries are getting westernized. I honestly expected the usual soviet architecture and in this vlog I haven't seen one old building :-O
I am sure Nick won't disappoint! I am staying tuned for next vlog ♥
Ok
I was born and raised in Kazakhstan and it's so nice to see foreigners coming to our land and sharing their experience with the world! We're kinda tired of these Borat references lol
Alhamdulillah
Мхм) При курсе 1 доллара = 370 тенге грех не приехать в Казахстан!
Such a vast country so sparsely populated (you should kick out the Russians though)
was thinking about visiting , seems like a nice and beautiful country.
Yeah my partner was born in Kazakhstan, her mother took her and her brother to Australia to have a better life.
When I first met my partner, she said if I made a Borat comment, she'd never talk to me again. Haha
In my opinion Almaty is so much more interesting than Astana, definitely visit if you go next time!
Shymkent is much more better )
so excited to see more of Kazakhstan :)
Awesome man, really curious to see more of this country. The prices sound super cheap, especially for how well developed it is. That part of the world is definitely intriguing to me. I was tempted to go in that direction when I was in eastern Europe a few weeks ago but was totally traveled out, so decided to wait for another trip there in the future. Also Azerbaijan sounds pretty interesting. I think Baku is really futuristic as well.
Cheers Gabe, I agree, very intriguing. Mysterious. Azerbaijan should be interesting with that Eurasia combination. Hope things are going well for you in the U.S. Take it easy after your huuuge trip!
Gabriel Traveler Kazakhstan really needs to invest their money on education, meeting basic nutritional needs of their population, healthcare, job creation, R&D etc. They seem to be spending their money on things which won't even benefit their population. A country builds skyscrapers when they have a central business district like Shanghai, Hong Kong, NYC or London.
I can't disagree with that.
Gabriel Traveler exactly so much futuristic buildings and there's hardly anyone on the street. One just cannot build a Dubai or Shanghai just because they have tons of petro dollar. Countries like Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is all about a dictator spending oil money on one city trying to make it look futuristic. But where are the jobs? Where are financial and tech hubs? World class universities and hospitals? That's what makes a city. And it takes decades to achieve that.
let me know,if u going to travel almaty,i can be ur personal guide :D
Super Excited For Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 and Azerbaijan 🇦🇿
Me too, Briaee!
We all *REALLY HAVE TO THANK YOU* for showing us the parts of the world no one else dares to travel to! ☺
Thank you for coming along! :)
LIVING THE DREΔM dude people go to Kazakhstan all the time. You seem to be confusing Afghanistan for Kazakhstan. Are you a trump supporter from Texas?
A lot of people travel to Kazakhstan and its becoming more and more popular. I wouldnt say that nobody dares to travel there
Lol this country becomes popular, so don’t say shit :)
“no one else dares to travel”, wow, we don’t have war here😂 We actually have decent amount of foreigners from USA and Europe, especially as teachers in international schools.
I am from Kazakhstan) This is so awesome that you are showing our country, because the majority of people don’t know it. Like at all. Every time I have to explain that it’s between Russia and China😓 Love ur videos, thank u!)
Nick, you are such a great ambassador to the world! The way you respect and honor each place you visit is inspiring.
Thank you, Kerry, that means a lot to me.
Don't we all.
I'm impressed how serious you've prepared to your trip, learned so much information about Kazakhstan, which is very rare. Even among the tourists who visits Kazakhstan often.Thank you for sharing it with others, so a lot foreigners can learn it too.
Kazakhs: Finally, the Borat thing is fading away
Borat 2: Hold my halal Vodka
😂😂haha. But to be True , Europeans did not even know 1% about central asia countries , its just because of him they are knowing that a country like this exists .
Borat has nothing to do with our country. It was also shot in Bulgaria. Shot by our enemies. Come to Kazakhstan and see for yourself.
@@jasqazaq1641 why dont u like him?

Welcome to Kazakhstan, it's nice!

Astana has almost one million inhabitants.

@@watermelonchicken9070 you bitch man
Almaty is supposed to be like the cultural "capital" of Kazakhstan and also got a lot beautiful scenery around it- I've got an online friend there and seen some pictures. So it's a bit shame if you won't make it to there as well during this stay but I hope you can in the future. The country is like the world's biggest landlocked country and the more you see from it the more diverse and beautiful in natural scenery you will understand that it is. Steppes, mountains, deserts. It's got the second biggest canyon in the world somewhere as well. But I'm sure that Aktau and the Caspian Sea will be very cool as well! Anyway it's a country, and area of the world, which I really would want to visit some day. And I think it would take ages to explore the whole.
Astana is, well I frankly am not much for modernistic and futuristic architecture, but it probably has its good sides as well.
Very interesting, thank you for all the info. It is not exactly landlocked though if you count the Caspian. As for Astana, it's an interesting one, I think in a few decades it will be a cool scene. I would love to see more of Kazakhstan's nature for sure. Cheers.
Hi Jonathan. It's me Samal fr Almaty. Do u remember?
@@IndigoTraveller As you said, I am sure that Astana will be so cool. I believe it will be more beautiful than now 🤩🏙
I was there in 1989 when Almaty was called Alma-Ata and under Soviet control.
Almaty was capital until 1997, then Astana was declared the capital. Astana is a "constructed capital"
I’m from Kazakhstan and it’s nice to see people visiting 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
Wow! I am glad you visited my home country Kazakhstan 🇰🇿. I am Kazakh. Hope you enjoy this fabulous country😅
Thank you, great to be here!
Hi
Is Kazakhstan racist?
@@douglaslew1099 not really. As soon as you respect locals they will respect you. Once you in KZ don't even remind about Borat! They would think you are insulting them. They might beat you. Don't laugh on culture or on language especially on the religion. Other than that all good.
Brother nation Kazahstan. We were a one united nation long times ago.. Our capital city was Asadal(Astana), but we went to East... I love Kazahstan!! From Korea~
Bob Lee thx bro, i think so))
Hi! Do you mean Hunnu? Korean language have similar rules in word formations to Kazakh (not Russian though). Like endings.

Kazakhstan!! wow i am surprised :)
You should go to Almaty, it’s very beautiful and totally worth of going. Mountains, canyons, lakes and lots of cultural places. Please check it out!
I'd love to visit Central Asian someday! Esp Kazakhstan and Kyrgyztan ^^

oh hi from Kazakhstaaan, that's so cool
Hey hey!
Salam! Beautiful capital
Turkish is written in Latin alphabet, and Kazakh language is related to Turkish since both part of the Turkic language family. They may not be identical but they are somewhat similar. So, it'd be easier if they write Kazakh in Latin alphabet. Not only more people around the world find it easier to read the signs, but it would make it easier for both people from other Turkic speaking countries to communicate with the Kazakhs.
actually Cyrillic is way better
@@jackcornison1057 yes
A lot of turkic people use Cyrillic alphabet, Turkish people are not the only turkic people in the world.
@@Sofia-hr8nd Turkish people are THE LEAST Turkic people in the world. look at DNA tests, the most Turkic people are the ones who use the Cyrillic alphabets. Turkish people nowadays have almost no connection to Turkic people
@@jackcornison1057 because most of them intermarried with the local Greeks who were the remnants of the former Byzantine Empire. One thing I’ve noticed about the Turkish people is that, they’ve almost lost their Asiatic or Mongolic features. They look like Europeans. They are like the Bulgarians, who are actually Turkic tribes who were Christianized and European-ized.
I really wanna visit this country someday....
It's not worth it
Toma Tomski why?
Ayu Anisah Agustin Horrible human rights violations and it is run by a dictator. A lot of people do not want to risk their safety.
@@tygonmaster you are mistaken. Where did you read that kind of information. As an independent country we have our law. And there were live so many nationalities together friendly. Kazakhstan is safe and friendly country.

Omg Kazakhstan looks like an amazing place to visit Nick truly never knew that this country was so developed it's stunning when growing up your brainwashed a completely different picture of certain countries in the world I think it's exciting experiencing new places first hand loved the video Nick wishing you safe travels and an awesome time in Kazakhstan and as always safe travels and can't wait for the next video ❤🙌🙌🙌👌👌👌👌
Thanks so much, Jasmine. Looking forward to sharing more with you 🍻😁
hmmm, Astana is all about sun worship from the looks of it. lots of "brain washing" going on it'd seem.. If you go and google "astana illuminati capital" you'll find s lot of information regarding all the buildings and layout of the town by tinfoil hat wearing coincidence theorists. www.google.com/search?q=astana+illuminati+capital see what I mean?
Appliantologist I was born in Astana. If Astana is the Capital of illuminanti I am reptilian. 🐸
Jasmien Davies i live in kazakhstan

I'm a fan of Dimash and Denis Ten, and this appeared as a suggestion. :))) I watched all your Kazakhstan vids and some others. Really good and interesting videos! I love seeing and learning about places that are little known to the world. Your travels are definitely off the beaten track! BTW, everyone I've met from Kaz, both in person and online, has been really kind, down to earth, knowledgeable and with a great sense of humour.
The first thing that caught my eye was how super clean it is there.
Super clean!
It's not..
Only in Astana. I think you will disappoint if you come for example to Aktau or Atyrau
Probably not. I do realise that all places have sections that are nicer than others etc. I was just very impressed with that particular area Nick, showcased.
People herein kazakhstan are so hygenic that you barely find patients with serious disease in hospitals. And that's why doctors haven't so much respect in their society as compared to teacher.
Great vid! Thanks for showing these countries!
What a beautiful country. I’m planning this year to visit it. All the best
Better go in Almaty!
I'm from Kazakhstan. Nick, thank you for visiting and promoting our country. Is it true that New Zealanders don't need visas now to visit Kazakhstan?

You have such an awesome perspective on the world and all of the places that you travel. I appreciate these videos so much! Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see your next vid!
Thank you, Jane. Makes my day :)
Yes!!!! I'm glad you went to Kazakhstan! Honestly I have no connections to that country, but I still love it for some reason. I'm an American with Bangladeshi origins, yet somehow I love Kazakhstan. I can't explain it, but I do!
Are you a fan of dictatorships?
Beautiful country I'd love to visit someday, they should host Asian games next time. What a lovely atlet here in Jakarta very kind. Love from Indonesia
Awesome! Really enjoyed the video👏🏻 very informative👌🏻
Genuinely surprised that Kazakhstan looks great and advanced.
Christina Reynold, Soviet Union only killed massive groups of Kazakh people and exploited Kazakh resources and did its nuclear tests in kazakh lands. If Soviets had never come, Kazakhstan would be more advanced.
Wow!! This is so cool, Nick! Really interesting place. I used to teach students from Kazakhstan years ago, when Almaty was still the capital, but I only just got to know them in the US and not anything about the country itself. It’s so cool to see the modern buildings and environment. Happy travels In Kazakhstan! ✌🏼👍🏼🌈
Thanks Karin!
I haven't even watched the video yet, but I gave you a thumbs up immediately! Kazakhstan? Wow! You go Nick! The intrepid traveler!

Oblivion Anemone You should be aware that Kazakhstan is VERY rich country in natural resources. Though occupied with totalitarian dictator since 1989. Kazakhstan could be on a level with Europe now, but unfortunately kazakhstani can not confront Nazarbayev.

A bit late but thank you so much for coming and enjoying Kazakhstan, finally after so many years people are starting to come here!
I also thank you for your respect and positive comments :D
Seriously really like this type of videos, informative but remaining natural and chilled and with your real first impressions. I had never considered travelling to that part of the world but you're opening our eyes, so excited to keep discovering and exploring with you. It does seem fascinating and unique as a place, would have never thought there's a Muslim population. Apart from the cost of the entrance to the building, it'd be interesting to know the costs of things in general there (for us lowbudget travellers haha). Your channel makes my day! 🗺 ✈ 😍

Nice, 🖒thank you for coming in Kazakhstan. High five 🖐
This was the first vlog I saw on Kazakhstan. I remember seeing it back in 2018. It opened my curiosity on the country. It is funny to see how things there have changed in this country in 2 years. I hope to get to visit Kazakhstan one day, though my focus will be on Almaty and the nearby mountains.
Thank you for visiting our country and showing what our country is like. I was born in Kazakhstan but never stayed and was raised in the United States. Kazakhstan has developed over the years and it's really cool to see.
Finally! Somewhat of a adequate representation of Kazakhstan🇰🇿 keep it up

Thanks mate!
No the nation is a totalitarian nightmare
Your videos and the internet bring the world closer together. Great job!
I’m addicted, can’t stop watching your videos! If you ever come to Brazil, let me show you our culture!
You know what, actually Kazakhstan has a real contrast. I see someone commented that you'd be sleeping in a tent, hunting and drinking fermented horse milk. And that is true. You really can do that if you go to the villages. Aktau is also amazing, but I'd recommend you to go some villages in Eastern Kazakhstan. Nature there is stunning and you may feel the village spirit there. Yeah, I am making a little advertisement for you to come to the village where my mom was born))) I am sure you wouldn't be regretting. I live in Astana and love this city but still, that is capital and it is developed, looks like western cities, so if you really want to feel Kazakhstan, You should go deeper. And I think Almaty is really fun. You have to go there. You will be surprised more)

It is a brutal dictatorship that watches tourists the entire time they are there....not as much as North Korea, but more in a sinister "guy over there has been eyeing you for the last hour" sort of way.
