Edward Essis-Breton - Arcane 21 : Néo-minimaliste (visualisation)

Here's my 21st composition. To be more salesy, this style is called Neo-classical (arcane 15), New Age or Contemporary Classical. You could also call it Post-Minimalism, but this term refers to composers like William Duckworth (The Time Curve Preludes) and John Adams (Phrygian Gates). I think the term Neo-minimalist is more accurate, as this style is characterized by catchy melodies accompanied by repetitive motifs inspired by Minimalism (arcane 19). Changes are more frequent. Time flows at a "normal" rate. Reverberation and silence are emphasized to make the discourse breathe, linking it to the sparse type of minimalism (e.g.: The Well Tuned Piano, by La Monte Young). Influences are often baroque (arcane 1), classical (arcane 3), romantic (arcane 5) and satirical (arcane 11).
