The Premise: It is an upcoming action-adventure video game developed and published by Neostream Interactive. The game's single-player and co-operative multiplayer modes both follow the professional and personal lives of explorers searching for monsters & supernatural events in a 19th-century-inspired world.

On one side I am hoping 1 day I wake up and we receive news of an update from the devs AND on the other side that dream is, well just a dream and it'll live in infamy for being THE indie game which had the biggest HYPE yet never seeing the light of day...
What are your thoughts? Think we will ever get to play this weird and wonderful game ot not?
Man, I hope we'll see it in 2023 or 2024. It's one of the few games I keep checking if there's anything new about. It kind of gives me the vibes of a darker Zelda, which is a good thing. I keep my fingers crossed that Little Devil will see the light of day someday.
Hopefully it will surprise us and make an appearance in the upcoming showcase ?

My hopes are it’ll release and its gona be mind blowingly good. I mean design wise this game checks all the boxes. Just seems like the devs ambition got the better of them.
We can only hope and pray cos man it does look Incredible, interesting and intriguing!
Combat, lore and character look great, wonderful setting and design.
It could be one of the best indie games of all time.

From one year to another I sometimes remember this thing exists, I make a quick google research and say "nah still not released", doesn´t even surprise me anymore. And life keeps going.

I've been obsessing about this game for years. Wish they'd just say they're still working on it. Do you think we might go all of 2023 without an update?
Same here 😂 It could be a case that they maybe still working on it as you say however cos things have been left in the dark for so long my hopes are running dry.
I hope we don't but realistically I think we will go through 23' with no further updates.

I think it's peaked alot of ppls interest on the back of the news. We can only pray we hear something soon.
This was independent but Sony got involved. My guess is it didn't meet their standards, and now they are working like slaves to get the product up to speed.
I mean it is a very very small team so that wouldn't surprise me. As long as it's decent upon release and we actually get it.
This trailer was so amazing. I bought a ps5 and couldn't wait for this. Whoever made the trailer. Needs to get a job on sony head marketing

The art direction is awesome its a shame if this game will never be finish.
The art direction was the thing that peaked my interest in the first place.

I would even buy a cheap Little Devil Inside art book (paperback) if they quickly pushed something like that out, just to keep some momentum going. I was "all in" from the beginning. I still have hope.

Christ. Why is this even a discussion? People over promise, either when it comes to the content or how quick they can accomplish a task. It is done all around us in every industry.
True but never to this extent. I can't remember the last time a game was announced, showcased and nothing...
I really hope this does get released someday and not end up as a nongame pitch. It hooked me with it's first trailer and I have been waiting ever since. It be a shame for it never to come to pass.

Same here! It sounds like a fever dream but one day it will arrive.
My hope: It's featured in the upcoming showcase for the 24th.
The reality: I've said the same thing the past 4 times without even a sniff of the game shown. If they dont at least announce a demo/finalized release date its very safe to assume the game was canceled quietly or a scam. Im expecting disappointment either way.
After research on the company/devs I noticed they don't have any social media platforms or even a CZcams channel. They could have easily posted updates or trailers but just aren't. It's fishy they claim such high renowed people are behind the game but not one can function a site to display what they have for us.
I haven't given any donations towards its funding but this was the first game that tempted me to do so. At this point I'm just glad I didn't ; (

They have a YT channel, but it's dead since 2020, and they haven't posted on their twitter since 2017.
@@linkhimura974 Hmm does it go by ‘Neostream Interactive’ or something else? I did a Google search a while back on them and didn't see any social media besides the Kickstarter and it seemed that was the main and only source of updates that's why I found it fishy.

@@cosmicXtropics Definitely Neostream, I have not found a subsidiary they go under, just a "hi, we are working hard and the game is still in progress." Would be nice

It might come out sometime soon, this seems to be a pretty small dev, and although transparency on the state of should be a requirement for croudfunding, it's not the case.
Hopefully they are using the extra time with the delays to polish up the game rather than releasing a broken mess as is usual nowadays, and the end result will live up to the expectations of the community they have created around it. We just have to wait and see.
I have my fingers and toes crossed. Just weird that we havent heard a peep, not fair on the funders at all.

Indeed it has been a stand out for sure due to the design aspects , story and combat, I've removed it form my PS store whishlist to avoid heart ache

A good Game tooks some time, but no communication with the Backers are very poor. The Game looks awesome but I think there are many problems in the developer Team… 😢

@@bbga_ quite a few. Fav game has to be fallout 4. But I've downloaded and played from assassin's creed, cod, platform games,
Tony hawks. NFS, and a whole host of sports, FPS, survival.
Maybe I'm just too picky but I get sick of the same game just dressed differently.
Have you played the exclusives like Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, the last of us , Ghost of Tsushima etc.. ? They are worth it trust me.

Nah, it's vaporware at this point, which sucks. Devs that don't update their KS for three years, they 100% took whatever was left and ran.

To be totally honest, I highly doubt this is a scam, who knows, maybe they just want to pour complete focus on the game, maybe they don't have time to answer a ton of the piling questions. Perhaps that outrage about the character designs silenced them. But after all the years of gameplay footage, and the most recent trailer, this game looks too far gone and too much effort has been put in for it to be a scam, and I'm sure its still in development. Unless by scam you mean, the backers will just be ignored and they won't get any contact and rewards, which would really suck
I would like to think they aren't and it's like you say they are getting their heads down and focusing on polishing/finishing the game for release.
I mean they don't have to respond to use just a tweet or website update would be nice.

Absolutely, nail on the head there. I get games are delayed , it happens but never in this scale. As you say a short message from the devs as an update on how things stand would be great and would ease ppls thoughts , especially backers.
