Well akchualy the Cyrus name was derived from the name of the Persian Emperor Cyrus ( which in Persian sounds something like Khuroosh) and the name was transmitted to English via Greek and Latin (likely Greek Kyrios shifting to Latin Cyrus). In English the Latin letter C experienced a sound shift( not in all cases) from a "k" sound to an "s" sound. Therefore the Indian man's pronunciation( unwittingly perhaps) is closer to the original name

Only Oni International Baccalaureate, it's basically a different way of learning/thinking, broader subjects and more in depth, you can do it from kindy to year 12 if you want but in this case we're talking about the ib diploma programme (years 11 and 12)

Why does each state/territory have their own version of a certificate of year 12 education? What are the main differences?
Well that's confusing just a question, what would happen if I was doing year 12 in the act and half way through the year I suddenly had to move to qld what would happen then?
***** the national curriculum is under development, and will be completely implemented by 2020.
***** from my understanding, all states bar qld have external examinations. in qld we have the qcs test which only counts for a tiny amount of our op and then the rest of our ranking comes from assignments/exams in grade 12.
