Fireflies Lanterns that are green like the soul lantern blue and the lantern red
they will light up the swamps
Maybe if you put the lantern in your off hand you can produce light without placing them.
Make the lanterns glow in the dark.
That would require in-game dynamic-lights, and i don't think they want it into Vanilla Minecraft
