VloĆŸit

- A rather large bathroom especially for Italy standards and I was able to place the wonderful vintage bathtub right in the heart of it. I love the colour of the walls too!
Julie in Italy (Finally!) đźđčâš
Authentic Italy, Delivered to Your Doorstep! đĄđ
I've put a lot of thought into this new channel, @julieinitaly and decided now is the perfect time to take the plunge. My @AmericanViscountess CZcams channel has seen incredible growth since its inception, now boasting over 213k subscribers. Our "Castles, Manors, and Stately Homes" content is also licensed by Little Dot Studios www.littledotstudios.com and is featured on their various CZcams and FAST channels, such as @RealRoyalty (with 1.2 million subscribers), @ChronicleMedieval - @AbodeLDS (interior design and renovation), and more. Thank you all for being part of this journey! đđ»
Given the popularity of my Little Italian House renovation vlogs on the @AmericanViscountess channel-some of which have surpassed 1 million views-it made sense to launch a dedicated channel, @julieinitaly Thank you for your continued support! đ
At the launch of @julieinitaly I'll be uploading archive vlogs from the past three years to help build the channel. Starting in July 2024, you'll get to enjoy fresh and exciting content. The kitchen renovation videos will continue to be uploaded on @AmericanViscountess and eventually on @julieinitaly It may seem a bit confusing, but rest assured, you'll get a healthy dose of Italy on both channels until the end of 2024 when we fully transition. Phew, and thank you! đ„ł
Please subscribe to @julieinitaly - it costs nothing and helps me grow the channel. đđ»â€ïžđ - Jak na to + styl
Very glad to see the compilation of footage here on the new channel. New viewers will enjoy Julieâs enthusiasm and love for Italy!
I bet that chandelier is going to look spectacular!
Julie, your joy is so refreshing. Having Malcolm there, is just pure magic! Congratulations đđ
Thank you so much!!
I think they call half curtains âŠcafe curtains
Mixed metals are fine and I love the rust look that rust color is beautiful. As long as the pieces make you happy itâs fantastic!!
Love that you grouted it with dark grout. It makes it look like an old wood floor. â€
These flea markets you go to are incredible.!!!!!
Your bathroom is worthy of a magazine.
You are just so wholesome and down to earth, you have the funds, stately hom, title etc yet you are so kind and so wonderfully genuine. Just love you and your channels. Thank you, thank for being you and sharing your wonylife xx
Sorry for the typos, I have three broken fingers đ
Thank you sooooo much!!! â„ïžâ„ïž
I had to rewind and hit the pause button, because I thought I'd seen GOLF CLUBS and sure enough, there they were!
I know this lovely Italian house will be beautiful beyond words cause Julie and Malcom will see that it is. Great job you twođđ»đ
Thank you so much!
Glad to see youâre having fun while youâre doing it all. Everything is going to be spectacular once youâre done with it all.
Those flea markets are to die for. You have found wonderful, unique things for your home. Love your bathtub.!
I would not have taken the rust off either. That makes it just perfect for your bathroom. âŠ.â€
I don't get the half and half paint colors on the walls. So many beautiful stencils, tiles and textured finishes to choose from that have the authentic Italian vibe that if paired with your other décor would knock it out of the park.
The silver N Gold đ You we're Spot On!with the chrome fixture and antique brass accent đ Julie your Italian bathroom is beautifull â€
I also love the old with new, adds lots more interest đ
Watching your video in my apartment in New York I love European decor. I have quite a bit of it so I am quite enjoying watching you decorate your home in Italy. Youâre doing a fantastic job.!!!!!
I LOOOOVE the rust on the bathtub!! And the warehouses you shared are AMAZING!! Thank you, as always, for taking us along for the ride!
Thanks for watching!
Why not brown grout to make he grout disappear?
Wonderful videođđ»
Thank you đ
Your joy is so wonderful and contagious â€ïž love all the walks and scenery makes me wish I were there. The very best wishes for you and your family.
Thank you so much!
Your excitement is so inspiring đ Lovely resultsâ€
Thank you so much!!
Confused âŠâŠ. Was this filmed several years ago ?
Yes. She writes it in the Info box. These are archive videos that are also posted on her other chanel. She wants to post them in the next weeks until she catches up.
I was getting confused too, because everything had been renovated, except the kitchen, so these are all repeats.
WoW!! Some place to go crazy wild in there đź
Malcolm is the best! Glad heâs with you!
The wooden clothes pegs are great for making dolls with toâŠ.. #childhoodthings đ
Hi...I saw that beautiful chandelier you got for your bedroom..with that beautiful Patina...however if you want to clean it out try using a mix of baking soda + lemon or white alcohol vinagre with a pinch of neutral detergent...works wonders... This is also good for jewels..real or not.. it brings back the shining of all metals.
Yeah, this is another of your channels I'm hooked on. I've built homes for Habitat for Humanity, remodeled homes, and love antiquing. Never been to Tuscany but I love it. I was stationed in Great Lakes, IL. and had a blast. It is way cool you lived near Sandwich, IL. Coincidence??? đ
Love the rust on the tub. Love mixing metals. Wonderful the sketchbook returned to your library.
I love this new channel of yours! I feel like I just took a tour through a little town in italy. I have never really traveled outside of the United States except to Cozumel once, so it was reaaly nice to see it!
Love the new bath and the colour scheme for the house, especially the wooden floor tiles. đŹđ§
Soo much to look at I would lose sight of my want and need listđ
Thanks for the vlog, a joy. Just one thing... the latter half was incredibly confusing .. there were jumps from one visit apparently to the next; then loud music over talking then an end which just cut off without explanation.. very strange..đ
I absolutely love the bathroom! Itâs so pretty! So many beautiful things at the antique markets! I love the chandeliers! I also love how you incorporate new with old!
I absolutely love the bathroom! And the flea market was fantastic! I was surprised to see mask mandates still in place though.
I loved this the first time I love it more now!
Oh my goodness! Julie your house is going to look so unique and beautiful! Thank you for taking us through the antique markets †Imagine the history behind every single object! I am definitely going to visit them when I come back to Italy. I canât wait for the next video.
The lamp must be made of brass/copper, which explains the weight. Good buy!
Loved it!! đđđđ

Thank you Julie! Julie in Italy takes me to Italy with you! â€ïž
You looked like a duck at the meeting with the orange face mask.đ loved three tear ceiling light fixture.
What joy you bring! â€Greatly appreciate watching your videos! đ
Thank you so much!
Porta asciugamano= towel rack
I really hate to be a Debbie downer but it would be a crying shame to paint over the bird painting on those beautiful headboards.
Smile I on the other hand loves when Julie loves something she tells you! I understood not that she would repaint it but the lines of wooden bed is what she was looking for, not the delicate flowers of a different style...
I agree. I, too, like the stencil painting on the headboards. Are they historic? Looks whimsical. However, I trust Julie's taste.
When I see Julie's design that she has in mind, I'll probably understand the look she's going for.
As @kataleen7962 said, Julie was pointing them out as inspiration but said she was not buying them, but looking for something with similar lines.
Dear Julie, I donât know if youâre aware of this but in the notifications from CZcams theyâre using your channel to sort of click bait for gossip channels about the Royal family. Wish I could insert a screen shot here to show you. For example it will say: Mapperton Live, (your video title), viewers also watch this channel. The channel theyâre pushing is a gossipy much lower level channel. I feel
like it really brings your channel down by associating it with that type of always inaccurate gossip.
@donnapecoraro yes, very annoying of CZcams to do....đą
Love it ,love it, bathrooms are so needed for chilling out in , and getting scrubbed clean â€
Cosa ci sarebbe di tanto interessante avere una casa in Italia da dove la maggior parte degli italiani vorrebbe evadere.

I love your videos! The bathroom looks so pretty.â€ïž
Thank you so much!!
Nice personal taste and touch. Keep up the good work!
Julie, can I ask how much you purchased your home for in Italy? Love it! The bathroom is very beautifully curated. đ
Such fun watching the transformation of your little Italian house. I cannot wait to see what is next!
Totally addicted to all your channels ⊠I have been watching all over the past two weekends â€â€â€đđđâ€â€â€
thank you!!
Painting @ 14:11 looks like a Van Gogh. I love it â€
Thanx for tagging us along, brilliant!X
My pleasure đ
beautifully done Julie
Great video.
Thanks!
I love the sconces above the bathroom sink. Great score as they say!
Julie everythingâs so pretty your house is going to look stunning xx
Thanks so much đ
The grout pens are the best!! Before I sold my condo, I used the white pens to refresh the old white grout in my shower. It looked like a brand new shower when it was all done.
Julie, Would you be willing to share your ethnic background? Are you Italian or just love the Italian culture? Your passion for your Italian home is so sweet!
I just love Italy!
Just a suggestion -The indentation in the field could have been an area of ground which was a reservoir or pond for cattle to drink from. Or has been dug out for another reason.
Please paint the outside of the tub with a rust-resistant paint. Thanks.
Great channel- very beautiful and refreshing! â€ïžđ
Last touch I would do it treat the feet on the tub to rustproof. And pain the claw feet in the same bronze to match the mirror. And yes, of course, ... Love! Love! Love! the rust on the side of the tub. But just think the feet would give it that extra pizzazz and finish it off in a really classy way. Patti Bee, Madison, Wisconsin -- love your content Julie and love your style.
Loved seeing the Huge Warehouses full of Antiques, the Venetian Chandeliers were magnificent, the old hand painted wardrobes, and storage cupboards with labels for herbs were all so fun! I could get into so much trouble there- in a good way! Love the lamps and really everything you've hunted for and found at great prices- a person after my own heart. Love that the person left- (in a place she figured you'd again visit!)- the Viscountess Lady Rosemary Hinchingbrook's sketchbook- (hope I have that right). Perhaps the sketchbook is from her younger years, but showing great aptitude at a younger age for the Artist she was to become. That was so kind and thoughtful. Your bathroom tub is great- and love the lights- especially the chandelier overhead. Have you ever seen the antique or newer bamboo racks they make for footed bathtubs that span the tub width and allow for soap, washcloths, etc? Some are simple, some larger with wine holder and even holder for an iPad, lol. They also have metal soap & sponge holders that have hooks that hang on side (inside) of the tub...these could be useful. You really make Europe in general, and Italy in particular sound so interesting and attractive. Love the Flea markets and you sharing a feel for the history, people and places you visit. Your Italian house is delightful! Thanks for sharing!
Thatâs a lovely jacket
Iâm confused I seen a post where u had finished the house now we are back in time ?
I absolutely love this series ! I just found you on here ! And Iâm so excited for you and to watch everything you are doing to your new Home! I have always wanted to move to Italy ! I just think this is great !
People mix metals now. I think the bath is nice. The only thing I would change is the door going into the bat..a little too modern
Such beautiful things for your home
Thank you! đ
I love what you're doing with your Italian House, but I do have a question about the weather in England. Why is it always gloomy and overcast and not much sun?
You doing great work and hunting for antique pieces, however, the mustard color of the bathroom is too much. But then, we were wondering if perhaps the camera view/lighting is different than actual color.
It's too bad then grout lightened up so much from when you first showed us. Glad you found a solution. For citrus trees, if you didn't find an on the street solution, I would be you could setup some kind of automated watering system on your roof top patio.
Sorry to say I'm confused as I thought you showed us the second bedroom decorated with the twin beds, linens, and a desk?...am I losing it?
yes, these are archived videos - new content coming in July! x
Enjoying this renovation...At the end will you give a general price of the property, and all the costs spent to renovate?? If I am being too nosy I'm sorry..
Hi Julie, đ
My name is Susie, I live in the states and Iâm new to your channel.
I am loving the beauty of not only your home but seeing Italy through your eyes, you enthusiasm is contagious đâ€
Thank you for walking us through all your work and the shops with all those antiques â€â€â€, I love antiques. I do have a question I hope you can answer, I bought a beautiful table lamp with gorgeous crystals hanging all around it and when I cleaned the crystals the wires what hole them started breaking, any idea what I might get to replace them but make them look authentic?
Thank you for sharing all of this wonderful country and town that your house is in, Iâm enamored and would love to walk through the town, Iâm living vicariously through you đâ€
Be well, stay safe and God Bless
It was so nice to see a bit more of your town. Very charming! I was so excited to see the grout pens!! I know that is a weird comment, but when I chose the grout for my master bath it was supposed to be the same in the tiled shower and on the floor (even though the tiles are different). The contractor didn't use the correct grout and like yours it looks almost white. I hate white grout. I'm going to google for those pens, but if I don't find them, could your provide a link? I hope I can get them in the US! Grazie Mille Julia!
Can you order from Riccardo Barthel? I would love to use some of these fittings in my reno.
Prima di vedere il tuo video, ho visto il video di una famiglia đȘ americana (padre, madre e 2 figlie) che sta ristrutturando un casolare in Italia đźđč (il canale CZcams si chiama RAISING VOYAGER)
What town in Italy is this located? Itâs charming!
Has the kitchen renovation been finished? I feel like this is an old video???
Read description in the video - and you'll understand. thanks for watching!
I'm really enjoying the renovations of your piccolo casa (not sure I spelled that correctly) and the wonderful views of Tuscany. I have always wanted to live there myself and you are so blessed. In the 2nd bedroom, is the wood feature a door or window or something? I'm especially excited about the kitchen Reno and can't wait to see it finished. But then your reno's will be over and I won't get to see more of tuscany! :D
Lots more fun content coming even after the renovations are over. xx Julie
I'm a bit confused because awhile ago I watched many videos of this little house finished. Including the decorated balcony. But this video was posted a few hours ago? And are they still wearing masks there in May 2024?
Read the description xx
Hi from Australia. What city is that amazing antique market in ? Cheers
I absolutely love the videos but Iâm a new subscriber. Can anyone tell me how much Julie spent on the actual renovations of the house? Thx. Now I need to find me one. đ
Hey Julie, I will so have to get in contact with you, as I have a dream too of owning a property in Italy. I still have family in Northern Italy and in a very small town where my grandmother and my mother and my uncle and my grandfather were born. We still have the same house and I am hoping to purchase the property from family, so I can have it as a respite for people who I work with - who suffer from PTSD - so travelling from Australia to Italy, will be a big trip for people, (where Iâm from) but it will be a sanctuary and it will be a peaceful calming environment in a very very old historic villa right on the Swiss Alps and right on the Italian Alps, so I would love to contact you to run ideas through - as to how you have done it - because this is a very big deal for me and I love watching your videos itâs very inspiring and touches my heart. I am also wanting to capture this journey on CZcams and create a channel around this. Lots of love for now and keep making those videos. Tracey. Xx
Looks like tons of fun! Just started watching. Is Malcome your husband?
No, he's a good friend. Husband is Luke - you can watch us at @mappertonlive
Where do you fly into get to this amazing town?
Hi Julie, do you perhaps have the email for the estate agent for fivizzano that you used?
Please give names of antique markets
I'm sorry (new here), but who is Malcolm? I know you from Ladies of London and also from seeing a few vlogs on your other channel. Forgive me if I'm being too nosy.
interior designer.
The soundtracks you insert are Sicilian in Brooklyn style. They have nothing to do with Lunigiana or Tuscany.
Iâm a bit confused is this a new Italian house or the same one? Just looks different to me.
Amazing market...but I can't believe everyone is still masking up?
That footage, I believe, is quite old when masks were still a thing in Italy.
This was filmed a couple years ago.
Its a latin language thats why its dificult for you , Im portuguese i have a latin language we speak easely italian etc ...We have the necessary accent.i love your videos !
Why remodel so soon
The purpose of a bath tube is to provide a sense of cleanliness. Sure a slick clean underside is more expensive. I do not appreciate the deco statement of the rusted underside of the footed bathtub, i
Is Emma your daughter or your friend
Her daughter.
Is it mandatory to wear a mask?
Too many um's
Yes that's so annoying đź it must be to the Italian's also. Ummmmmm đź
How do you like that, Luke. In that moment I was reminded of Harry and Megain.... Push the aristocrat out of the way and make room for America.đ
