- Rajya Sabha MP Ramdas Athawale, while his speech on the Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill, 2023 make other Parliamentarians burst into laughter in his iconic ‘poetic’ style. The Central government is all set to move Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill 2023 in the Rajya Sabha later on Wednesday to curb the menace of film piracy as well as revamp age-based certification given by the Central Board. Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur is to move the Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill, 2023 in the Upper House in the second half of the day for its consideration and passage.

Someday, I wish to attend a parliamentary session while Mr. Ramdas Athawale is speaking. This should be the approach to communicate and relay any information. People nowadays are too serious. In the end, nothing needs to be taken too seriously.
