I had some Marvel cards I got purely because a friend's mom's boyfriend at the time, had a book of "dupes" that he said I could have. I was thrilled, though my grandmother wasn't. Mainly because it was from him. I'm actually surprised she let me keep it. BUT, it was pretty great, and you'd best believe I looked at/read those cards a TON. I even made a couple of my own home-made cards, based on characters I had made up myself (around age 12 or so). I wish I still had those Marvel cards.... On a related note, did DC ever have a line of trading cards? You'd think they would have around the same time..
A lot of my cards got water damaged. So I only have a handful of comic cards left. Marvel Series 4 cards were always my favorite. The Flair set were cool too since they were basically a premium set being a thicker card and came in the fancy cardboard pack.
I wish I still had my collection, have not thought about them in decades. My son just started collecting Pokémon cards and I had to pull up these to show him what I collected. So cool 😎
Love this video I also still have my complete set of 1991 marvel universe trading cards I remember when they came out it was a big deal for comic book fans. Good times why did I grow up
i use to have some xmen card when i was a kid from the 90's but they didnt look like this, i was hoping they where the same ones, so i could find out who made em, but sadly these are not the same cards i had good vid though
I used to have this complete set. I was big into collecting cards from 1993-1997. I collected many of the x-men series. I still have some.
I still have mine in a box somewhere, along with my collection of the Star Wars CCG. The art on the X-Men cards are very cool!

5:50 This specific section of the card series were for X-Men characters who had died.
They would say " DECEASED " on the back. Had a whole page in my binder for them.
