I think he was trying to do shit to the band.
I just read this up, He said that there was tension in the band and that he thought a little time apart would help resolve it, so he was working on other endeavors for a little while. In the mean while the other two band members moved on without him and started auditioning other singers. He said he didn't know he was going to be kicked out, and it all came unannounced, and they locked him out of social media and such. It's a real pity, because HE formed the band when they were in high-school, and he's been part of the legacy and the lyrics, there were often based on his own experiences, and no one can ever replace that. The two band members should have given the band a little more time but they decided to move on. I almost feel the betrayal...
The only issue is he is the voice for so many songs that its actually hurting their new songs. Kinda wish Emma would step up. Its a shame that they are loosing a chunk of their fanbase.

There are two sides of the story. The one that you told above me and another where Shim was trying to get a lawyer to break the band up without them knowing. He was trying to dissolve the band himself or some other shite. We might never really know what happened but there is a truth in there somewhere. I just don’t believe that after everything, they would just say “fuck you, you’re out of the band”. That doesn’t seem logical.

FUNKMASTRGENRAL I think she just uses her nail as a pick for certain parts cuz you can see her slapping in certain shots and in other songs by them I’ve definitely seen her using slap and fingers. It’s all about which tone is best for the song but she is an absolute beast on bass.
