Here are some tips to help you get the work done:
Please make sure to format the USB drive(FAT32 Format).
Please download the document via your computer/laptop, then use the WinZip application to
unzip the file.
Please put the two unzipped files in the root directory of the USB drive.
Please note that all data on this unit needs to be wiped before updating the system, so back up
important data if necessary.
*If the head unit can be turned on normally, the system will be updated automatically once the
USB drive is detected; Otherwise, please swipe up and down on the screen with your fingers until
you see green codes appear in the upper left corner. *

I have a Topway 10” android Quadcore R16 android version 6.0.1 the battery died one day, and the camera stopped working. While trying to fix the camera I accidentally factory reset the radio and now the navigation won’t work, CZcams, pandora, nothing. Only a few apps show up when before there was 3pages of apps. Do you have android play store? When you reset it, all applications that manufacturer put will be gone. Either you can ask the company or you will download them manually.

I have a chinese aftermarket android head unit for my 2020 rav4. I bought it from Aliexpress and seller is no longer a seller. How can I find out if there is an update of my android software for my unit ? Is there something I can provide to you that then you can find out for me if there is update or whether I can upgrade from android 10 to android 12 or 13 ?

Upgrading is very risky. If you make any small mistake, it will brick your radio. Be careful!!!

Sometimes it is impossible to bring it back but sometimes if you are lucky, it can be fixed

Are the updates for each android device bought from eg chinese sites? Because they are unbranded and that confuses me... There are so many systems and that's why I wonder. I have the 8 core 7 inch touch screen without physical buttons only touch from the same series the 3 different inch size. Who can answer this?

Update files are unique to each radio. You can get the files from the manufacturer’s website or its company. Don’t use anything else

If I were you yes, I would buy a new one if you don’t get the update files from the company without bricking the radio.

Maybe then I know again, I want to be able to update in the future. Cheeky question, but would I otherwise forward the link, maybe you can say what is sensible. You keep saying you gotta contact the manufacturer, but that’s the problem. My Android head unit don’t have a name. It has a 10.1” screen running Android 10. When I go to the “about device “settings all it says is NWD_K2501 (T5) how would I contact them????? I’m so confused and can’t any help everywhere I look. So if you or anyone else can point me in the right direction please it would be greatly appreciated.
The only possibility is for you to install your radio’s specific firmware. The others are not compatible with yours. If you install you can brick your radio
