Concept of time… many smart people of many different fields have thought about this a lot. So it really depends whether for instance you ask a philosopher or a physicist. I think time can only be any concept if it stands in a relation to something, like space or a goal or a day (sunrise to sunrise=24hrs); Imagine the sun would be fix… In terms of cop out, yea I really believe that would depend on the character, and how much you want to achieve a goal. If you think about it philosophical way one could say: it’s a way to escape the thought of eternity (human mind can’t comprehend), and to manage your own perishability (managing the time you got). From that pov using phrases like “in two years…” would mean that whatever it is that you doing now has more priority now over what you say you “wanna do in two years”. Meaning you think or want that in two years that thing will be your priority; coz you cannot be sure about what you actually want or think in two years. Hope that is some fuel to your thoughts ;)
@THEKids-qs7sj sure, that's common structured time. I'm referring to what makes time fly when you're having fun & how time slows when you're bored. Simultaneous blocks of time experienced differently.
Time equates to intelligence. Time only exists as a marker for an event. Snap your finger and imagine that sound is all of time : past, future, and the eternal now existing all at once. In order for you to live or experience a reality, your awareness of what is must be focused. Now stretch that moment of reality into a linear expression, meaning this happened, and next, this happened. each sequence of linearity can then be measured, as, let's say, by the second, thus, meaning time is only a subjective stretching of "what is" into a sequential definition of the logos or the intelligence of a living reality.
Here is my concept of time: Everything that has happened, is happening and will happen, all at once. We have all been each other, we ARE each other and we WILL BE each other, all at once. Our experience of moving through time is just the story we are telling ourselves. Idk if that helps or hurts but it is my way of understanding it!
