@@deiradinn That is more of a nod from Kazushige Nojima the scenario writer of X-2 to the FF7 universe. However it was too loosely and poorly implemented to be considered even worth acknowledging by fans. Most don't know about it.
@@markula382 considering that the ffvii remake, when we are at shinra building, we see the photo of the founders, and the main founder is Shinra from FFX2. He has the same Al Bhed mask.
FF7 Rebirth is just a love letter to FF Fans, there are easter eggs to almost every FF game in there… like the Umbral GS that’s literally a DK sword in FF14, Darkside materia - FF4, Cloud Jr following around is like Bartz and his baby chocobo, those are the stuff that caught my eye. There is also KH reference there too… like the seasalt ice cream of Elena.
And FF XII fight system in a minigame. And a certain plot arc with rebellion against a tyrannical witch sort of similar to FF VIII. A choir in Cosmo Canyon chanting a song from Advent Children. Very likely there's more that I missed
Pretty sure Yuna is a ancestor of Aerith. FF7 and 10 are connected. Shinra in 10-2. His Picture in the Shinra Building and now that. This is not a Coincidence. Square knows what they are doing.
These stories are connected through Easter Eggs and take place on 2 different planets. Kazushige Nojima the scenario writer of both games has already stated this.
@@markula382 really hope they make it more than just easter eggs. There is inifinite possibilities with what they can write on the capabilities of lifestream/farplane which they couldn't on other FF titles.
I know it's probably easier to point out the FFX inspirations in Rebirth, but the entire game has nods, inspiration and love from almost all of the other FF titles. The game is just one big FINAL FANTASY love letter.
When I first saw this scene in the game, I was like that’s the Yuna/Summoner dance. Then I realized what square enix did… FF7 is the story of the end of the summoners/cetra and the successive games in the series are about the history of them.
I seriously hope they do. I think the voice casting will be really hard to please people with, but tons of stuff going on in FF7 Rebirth feels like a staging/testing ground for FFX content.
Thank you for posting this!!! I literally screamed when I saw aerith doing Yuna sending!!!!!
I had tears in my eyes seeing the resemblance to it.
Since both FF X and FF VII happen in the same universe, maybe some elements of the sending ritual dance survived untill Aerith's time
I love how both scence really embrace spiritual elements of the character. In both games really make u feel connected to both characters characters.
Yuna and Aerith are the best heroines ❤
I'm so glad someone else noticed this. It felt so much like Yuna's sending. Not complaining, mind, I enjoyed it.
Literally everyone who played/know FFX noticed it
Aerith's dance reminded me of Yuna. FFX is one of my fav games from my childhood.
FFX is a prequel to FF7, they're in the same world.

@@nerostark4320 Again its a nod, but not canon. Its up to the fans to take it how they wish.
If Aerith were in Final Fantasy X, she would make a perfect summoner.
So many parts of this game have me FFX vibes hard, especially this scene
Uncanny.
Gongaga reminded me of besaid
@@youtubeperson199 wow 💯 damn so dead on. I didn’t put it together
To me this scene basically confirmed that old theory that FFVII and FFX take place in the same universe.

The "Out of the frying pan..." at Gongaga Reactor made me laugh.
Kalm reminded me of Altissia from FFXV😂 and yes I noticed Aireth dancing like Yuna from one of the trailers
NPTK has many similarities to FF8's opening too.
Was the 1st thing i noticed. Would love a ffx remake like this
yuna looks like a natural love it

Yup my thoughts exactly
they will release a remake for FFX in 2026❤❤❤

Not before FF7 Part 3.
If ever.
Part 3 will be out in 2027 how it seems. Probaly on 1/31/2027. This would be 30 Year's after the OG.
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought of this

Cloud and Tidus fist bump...
"Bro. Our girlfriends are awesome." - Tidus
"...Yeah... she is." - Cloud
Oooh I wasn’t the only one!!
One dances happily the other sad
Rumor has it FFX and FFVII take place in the same universe
Aerith reminded me so much of Yuna in Rebirth.
people die, Aerith dances
🤣🤣🤣
Yuna still the best
I love how no matter the situation ff girls always start dancing or singing
omg i love aerith & yuna 🌺🌸
I thought about the same!!!
A cynical perspective - Square Enix recycles decades old motion capture animation.
Can someone do indepth video comparing spira and gaia
they wan to remember us because it will be FFX remake in2026❤
