NXT is way better then the spot fest that goes on in AEW. It's sad. I'm 50 years old and have been a wrestling fan since as far back as I can remember. The first match I remember was in the Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans in 1981. I remember everyone except who Jake Roberts tag partner was that night. Anyway, that was the first match I remember and it sticks because the Samoans made it seem like they bit a literal chunk of skin off his forehead, and Jake was covered in blood. That's the only reason I remember because that stuck out so much. We were also in the very front row that night. My dad worked for Bills Watts and Midsouth Wrestling at the time.
The point I was trying to get at is I'm a lifetime wrestling fan, but I can't deal with AEW anymore. That's not what wrestling was meant to be. They have literally made the finisher pointless there. If you going to kick out of 100 of them before you finally don't, what's the point? They are pushing a guy there is barely 120 pounds soaking wet, with no muscle tone what so ever, like a monster with squash matches. Makes no sense and is not believable in any way. Let's not forget he jumps the air to. Hell most of the wrestler don't look like wrestlers, it's more gymnasts cosplaying as wrestlers. No, not all the matches are spot fest with run ins and outside interference, but most are. Still trying to figure what anyone sees in Hook. Dude has no talent. Only reason he is even there is because of Taz. Chris Jericho done lost his dam man with the constant changing of characters. Seriously, it's like he can't make up his mind and this one is just pure cringe. As long as Tony Khan stays in charge, the company will continue to hemorrhage money and not make any and eventually.
