  • The Dean of Westminster, The Reverend Dr David Hoyle, visited leading homelessness charity The Passage to meet staff, volunteers and service users.
The Abbey, a neighbour of The Passage in the heart of Westminster, has made a £500,000 donation to the charity to support its No Night Out initiative, which works with people at risk of spending a first night on the streets, providing them with emergency accommodation while its staff offer one-to-one support to move them into safe and sustainable housing.
Find out more about The Passage's vital work, and how the Abbey donation will support it over the coming years: passage.org.uk/

VERY WELL DONE BY THE ABBEY FOR MAKING THIS BIG DONATION TO THIS CHARITY! IT´S A SHAME THAT THE GOVERNMENT FAILS COMPLETELY ON THIS MATTER:
ABOUT 500.000 HOMELESS IN THE UK AND STILL GROWING !

Not surprised that the church is more efficient than some nameless bureaucrat. Cheers from Oklahoma
