Frosty wing, I would have de-iced.
You didn't watch the video close ... it was melted before they hit air and it wasn't on leading edge nor any accumulation .. It was nothing .
Great video guys. Next time don’t film the security code for the gate! ;)
LMAO 😆😆
my thoughts too
That guy has some sick humor! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
9:10 Jean had me cracking up! He seems to be that guy you always want in the group when going out for food/drinks...or flying.
Kinda want to do a cross country flight with Jean after watching this video
Sorry for talking over you guys at 10:52 while departing. :) was excited to see the tungsten silver beast in person. Thanks for the video and I want to know how Jean stays so thin when all he ever talks about is food ha!
Every pilot at Clinton Regional is now cursing you two for making them have to learn a new gate code.
Dude I was taking off at klzu when you guys landed. I saw you guys and thought it couldn’t be mojo sling.
I was legit taking off 3 planes after you, in a pa-28. I heard the tail number and thought, but just decided i remembered wrong
congrats Mike she looks a beaut.
Enjoyable!
Everybody would want to be a pilot if they could fly with Jean!!
Nice to hear about the groundspeed, but we all want to know what TAS you were getting!
Is delivering the airplane part of the whole package cost? Wondering why he wouldn’t just go get it himself?
Ice on a wing, always scares me...man, I think I would have sprayed some alcohol on it or done something about that. Even 1/4in of ice can cause serious flying issues.
Sling, isn't it high time you make a composite bird? it just has to be vastly superior in numerous fronts. And I assume you have many composite parts on it already to compensate for the short comings of sheet and rivets. You might well end up with fewer composite parts by skipping the metal. And you could even dare to be bold and do fly by wire if to skip that mechanics as well if someone like garmin is up for it. A sleeker composite bird goes faster and is naturally inclined for pressurization. Done well it might get close to 500km/h with a 915.
Damn mike your plane hauls ass bro!!!😳
Did you guys use a personal GPS/Satellite Tracker or Communicator for your flight?
Lovely flight but why did Mike not fly it himself!!! I mean flying the pattern is fine but that bird is built for distance..
Mike
Mike, as "the builder," why are you NOT in the Left seat? What the hell is wrong with that picture? How can you hang out in Georgia and have the plane YOU BUILT delivered to you? Money talks and B.S. walks - still true.
Jean, aren't you getting too old for this?
LoL...apparently not. He is one of the best.
