Looking at the history of what they are selling, the items are duplications of what MFJ used to sell. So, with the announcement of MFJ's Closure, this makes sense. I sure hope someone picks up Hygain, Ameritron, etc...
These have been in production since long before MFJ announced closure, but yes...
Maybe someone will restore Cushcraft back to their former quality, the low cost alternatives are always nice to keep Icom, Yaesu and Kenwood from bankrupting us..
Hopefully they can duplicate hy-gain products like rotors and antennas
i am sure you have figured this out by now But justin case ...The INTELLITRON 1001D is a Peek Reading meter not just avg ! It is like the Nessi 503MAX Version ..If They Say MAX on the Back Upper Left Corner They Are will read Peek & AVG Reading & That is What ya Want IMHO ! !
Yes
That 17’ whip is a really good value and well built!
I wish the clocks didn’t have “Made in China” on the face in the largest font possible. Other than that it looks to be a good line.
Agreed
Better yet would be "Made in USA" in large font.
White out, lol
I have been looking for a 24 hour clock. But not buying anything that is Made in China.
When they abandon communism and join the civilized world, I will be glad to buy from Chinese companies.
There is a special marking requirement for clocks and watches imported into the US that require the "conspicuous" labeling of the country of origin on the dial of the clock.
I agree, I think they picked up some product from MFJ
Yeah like copied the designs because Chyna!
MFJ isn't actually the manufacturer of many of these items, though
@@HamRadio2 agreed. Mfj probably just sourced their products from the same manufacturer and branded them as their own. But I’m aware of situations where designs are sent overseas to outsource manufacturing/assembly/fulfillment done there only to have competition products pop up with the same or very similar designs. I think the TruSDX kits had this occur.
looks like the MFJ items Gigaparts is picking up. some great items. inserted in that external speaker. compared to the MFJ one. that radio controlled clock gets it signal from WWV . I have a older MFJ one. works great in NY . I keep it UTC . would like the digital dule time one . either radio controlled or GPS locked clock. I do not bother with my Icom 7300 clock. it keeps bad time. I get get program from Icom to set 7300 clock from PC laptop clock. some times I forget to load and run it. but the 7300 clock not needed for digital modes and logging. the PC clock does that for me. so I never bothered to replace that tiny battery in the 7300. maybe do a video on the Intellitron external speaker compare to MFJ one. not Shure how long that MFJ speaker will be around. 73's
Intellitron = Ameritron MFJ

You won't need any readers for that clock, tnx Man!
For sure!
Hi Jason! Thanks for the video! Quick question - do you know by any chance if the Intellitron CK-0153 is silent when seconds hand is moving or it makes a ticking sound?
No idea
LFG- Lettuce Fudge Grapes
Do they make an SWR/watt meter with 2 or 3 antenna ports, ie one meter with 2 or more antennas?
Bet that was a fun box to open lol!
Yep
Looks like they bought out MFJ???
Close but no
I clicked on this for the 24 hour clock.'
First, I am a navigator.
Can 2 GMRS Radios be hooked up to the Intellitron SWR Meter? I just got the WM-1001D model and does not say anything about the Antenna Ports.
I don't think so. The 2nd antenna port on this meter is for an HF radio
@@HamRadio2 Yes i notice that later -- should have read the Fine Print.. :) Thanks for the reply.
I believe that they are just rebranding MFJ and other brand products.
No, MFJ is shutting down. But these items are made in the same factory in China where MFJ was made
I have a nixie clock and that wasn't budget friendly!
The Switch is for the Peak Reading functions. Come on...
Let's go!
Hmmm… Sadly MFJ announces it’s closing and then a line of products hit the market that look identical but rebranded as Intellitron. OK then… 😗 🎶 😗 🎶 moving on now… LOL
I hear you, brother. I was thinking the same thing.
Not exactly, but they are made in the same factory
Hey Jason , Looking forward to see what that Nixie Tube array is for. Sent you an email, hope you find it. KE5EZZ
Unfornately not a Nixie tube display. They are IPS LCD ( in-plane switching liquid crystal) displays.
I wonder if the 17' whip is decent quality.
