The Deplorable Word is a MAGIC SPELL from C.S. Lewis's "The Chronicles of Narnia" series. In the book "The Magician's Nephew," it's revealed that Jadis, the White Witch, possesses a magical incantation called the Deplorable Word. When spoken, it has the power to kill every living thing except for the speaker, making it a symbol of ultimate destruction. Jadis intends to use it to conquer Narnia, but its use is ultimately prevented. The Deplorable Word represents the darkest aspects of magic and the consequences of unchecked power! As I was reading my kids the story, I was inspired by the idea of this spell and decided to create it into this song :)
