Just wanted to add that argentinian crowds are one if not the most passionate in the world, any artist that comes here feels it too, the audience loves and loves hard and loud. We sing each word, we feel each note, and we jump on every breath. It's not hard to be passionately loved here in Argentina.

Hi Rebecca. Indio is one of the most known and respected artist Argentina has produced. Along with Gustavo Cerati, marked the heart and brain of many rock fans. Indio has the record for the largest concert (300000 people). He only did one or two concerts a year until his "retirement". He suffers from Parkinson's decease and he declared himself as a crowd phobic. One of our most important singers and songwriters. Thanks for your reaction.
Jean Michael jarre actually has the largest. Plus it was closer to 3.5 million. I can’t imagine being there. How many speakers they had to use for these concerts. I used to think system of the down was crazy with their free concert they did but damn is this kind of stuff impressive. Learned a new artist I have to get into! Thank you for your knowledge!

I was there! It was almost my first concert I've been of his, I went to another one the same year. I think I was 11 years old. We got almost to the front line with my uncle, there was something of a "I want you to know what it feels to be at front for the first time", maybe its an argentinian thing. It was amazing. I started going to these concerts with a friend all by ourselves a few years later

Hi Rebecca, Indio is a well-respected singer/songwriter here in South America, thousand of people used to attend at his concerts. This song in particular was released 35+ years ago and became very popular since then. Unfortunately, Indio's retired from live performances because of his age.👍👍

Carlos Alberto Solari (born 17 January 1949), known as Indio Solari, is an Argentine musician and singer. Solari was the leader of Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota between 1976 and 2001, and together with "Semilla" Bucciarelli and Skay Beilinson have been the only constant members of the group. Career
In the 1970s, Solari met his friend Guillermo Beilinson (Skay's elder brother) in a small fabric printing workshop in Valeria del Mar, called "El Mercurio". By then, Solari was already listed in his city as an enigmatic character by his harsh discourse and unconventional behavior.
In 1976, Solari started a project with Beilinson brothers and various musicians, which would be the beginning of Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, and he remained as singer until the band eventually split in 2001.
After the separation of Los Redondos, Solari started his first solo project in 2004: El Tesoro de los Inocentes (Bingo Fuel), together with his band Los Fundamentalistas del Aire Acondicionado, which was later presented in Argentina and Uruguay. In December 2007, The Fundamentalistas second album was released: Porco Rex, which was much less complex and very poetic. In the prologue he says: “Loneliness is the playing yard of Porco Rex”.
In 2010, Solari and his band released El Perfume de la Tempestad, edited on CD and Vinyl.
In late 2013, Solari and Los Fundamentalistas released their fourth studio album: Pajaritos, bravos muchachitos, which includes a song recorded with his old bandmates Semilla Buccarelli, Walter Sidotti and Sergio Dawi.

Love Latin American/Spanish music. Grew up with it. Have you ever listened to Cesaria Evora? She's from Cape Verde. Weather is a bit nippy in the Southern Hemisphere, where it's nearly winter solstice. Sun's been setting at about 4:45pm. Lots of wallabies coming for a feed of kangaroo/wallaby pellets since there isn't much grass on the pasture at the moment. Looking forward to the days getting longer again.
