    Brilliant Sir. I began with a EE bansuri after practicing in a G natura. I am Kamal from Sri Lanka and find difficult to stretch upto Pa . I trust that with more practice I will. Your teaching is highly appreciated. True Master.

    Thanks❤🌹🙏 to teach us. Without taking single penny from us. Some CZcamsr told to get paid training. You are doing great👍.

      I appreciate your comment. But, I provide paid lessons as well. Those lessons are much longer in duration, far more in-depth in their scope and are shared privately with my paying students. Cheers.

      My pleasure.
      The bānsurī used in this video is a D bass made by Mr. Subhash Thakur of Punam Flutes, New Delhi. You can find them online.
      These days, I enjoy playing on bānsurīs made by Mr. Kantilal Patel from Mumbai, India. Let me know if you wish to contact him.
      Both the flute makers mentioned above are good and reliable.
      In case you didn’t know already, it’s important to note that a D bass is quite a long flute & can be difficult to play if one doesn’t have much experience with bass flutes.
      All the best.

    That was hell lot of new information I got. You always play D scale flute. But its quite intimidating for the beginners. What is the right scale flute for the beginners you think ? Again thank you for this tutorial.

    • @musicabstract
      @musicabstract  Před 4 lety

      In my opinion, the right flute for a beginner is the one that’s just outside their comfort zone. That’s the size of flute that will keep them on their toes while learning. It shouldn’t be too comfortable.
      I practise on C and teach & perform on D. That’s what I find perfect for the music I make.
