Hi everyone!
In this video, I show you step by step how I make my coffee at home. You will see the kind of coffee I buy and the equipment that I use to create the best cup of coffee I can. I would like to apologize as there are a few harsh sounds in this video I've tried to minimize, I hope you will still find the video enjoyable.
The ASMR triggers you will encounter are: soft-spoken voice, coffee grinding sounds, crinkling, tapping on various surfaces, water pouring and liquid stirring.

I basically buy my coffee at the same location still, but I changed the method to brew it.

The way she smiles while smelling her coffee is so endearing and perfectly expresses how we all feel inside when we reticently smell the packages in the grocery store, hoping no one sees us.
So true--and yet there's no reason for the reticence, as we all are united in savoring that heavenly aroma. I dream of a day when we can all stand proudly sniffing in the coffee aisle of our local stores.

Thank you for the excellent video. The circle on the back of the package is a "degassing valve". It is a type of one-way valve that allows gasses released by the beans after roasting to escape without allowing oxygen and moisture from the atmosphere (which may cause the coffee to spoil) to enter the package.

I came to this video because I just love coffee and it's ASMR! I'd like to see more coffee videos in ASMR or even Tea making or cafe drinks in general, I love listening to jazzy music with my drink as well.
I live in America, born in uruguay, and I can say that many fair trade Arabica coffees are also naturally organic, especially Guatemala. I just got introduced to your channel and I love this take on coffee and your time travel ad agency video and also about your book selections - the ad agency was truly inspired. Thirty years late to the party, I *just* watched Twin Peaks for the first time (I was in high school when it was broadcast so I have no excuse) and then I saw this. Perfect timing! 😆
The one downside of a French Press is you have to be careful when washing it. I’ve eventually broken the glass container when washing it out. Longest I had one last before I broke it was 18 months.

Oh and the little hole is a valve to insert a vacuum to vacuum pack the beans for freshness :)

I barely drink coffee but I do love the smell of it. I also had to come when I saw that reference in the title. I didn't expect that but if you're a fan of the X-Files, I guess it makes sense to be a fan of Twin Peaks too.

I do love my morning coffee. I find the whole process enjoyable and relaxing, from grinding the beans to waiting for it to pass through my drip filter or brew and then taking that first sip 😊.
Depending on time and mood I like to alternate between a drip filter, a cafetiere and a Moka pot. I like to try new coffee when it's time to buy a new bag but one of my favourites is Lavazza Rossa.

I was not aware of your love of coffee - It was an ex of mine in Sweden who first got me into my caffeine fixes years ago, and I've been hooked since :) Having an ASMR coffee video is a bit of a new experience for me, I miss my outdoor coffees right now because of various restrictions etc so being able to make it at home is a godsend!

There's nothing better to start the day that drinking a fresh and warm cup of coffee specially where i live (Colombia) where the temperatures of the capital city are pretty low in the morning. Very cool video!!

Love this video. So many tingles and I love coffee. So the half washed thing means that half the fruit has been washed off. Coffee beans are actually the pit of a fruit similar to a cherry. After they pick the fruit they either wash the fruit off, half wash the fruit off, or leave the fruit on. They then let the beans sit out in the sun and let them kinda dry. If any of the fruit is left on it will impart a light fruity flavor. Washed beans have more of the chocolate earthy notes.
And thank you for making it. I enjoyed watching while I made my own coffee on this cold Canadian winter morning. I usually start my day with tea. ; )

Grinding your own beans really makes everything about mornings better ,i use a italian machine perfect for making something between normal coffee and espresso

yes nothing beats freshly grinded coffee. I prefer to use a moka pot, but the french press also produce a delicious coffee.
I’ve drank about maybe four gallons of coffee in the past week from a French press with toasted coconut almond milk and Revolution Roast because if i gotta purify my own water i might was well use it for coffee and this somehow eased the brain static caused by the amount of coffee so thank you!
