Stan doesn't miss a word because he breathes through his traps.
Hahaha 😂
No fat with #StanWinstrol
Holy fuck, it sounds like he's reading from a book, but I know he can't be because he's driving... Some of the best oratory skills I've ever seen. Virtually no "umm's", or pauses. Honestly, this is as amazing as his lifts in the gym.
probably memorized a script
Still impressive.
Was wondering that, but then I checked his other videos (Rhino Rants) and they all sound just like this. I think he just has a mind like a muthafucking steel trap.
+pavy415 isn't that why this is so great..?
Is that any less impressive? It's a 24 minute video
Joke's on us. Stan had his wife on the hood of the car holding up script cards the whole time.
World's strongest bodybuilder married the world's strongest grip! 😂
Silly
That's pretty funny, and I could totally imagine how that worked.
I read this before watching the video, about two minutes in I busted up laughing remembering your comment lol
Stan has that one-in-a-million combo of wisdom, intelligence, and genuine empathy. Class act and authentic through and through! I'm a lifelong fan now.
Add to that he's strong as a gorilla lol
Not sure where you live, but I know plenty of people like that.
No you don't @@BeardedDanishViking
my dad walked in an asked me if i was listening to an audio book
LMAOOOO
did it again rhino good shit!
you gotta be comfortable on the subject you're going to talk about, be calm and have some experience.
+ThePOPKILLA yea, no uhms, you knows etc.
literally what this is
Wow, did not realize Stan Efferding was so well spoken.
Oh man watch every interview he's ever done and you'll learn one thing each time at least, put in the best way you've ever heard it. One of the people on the planet I respect most
You would think he's reading from a book. I could listen to this guy all day
+DaBrute right!?
Colin Robert you should see his dong.
His voice breaks at the beginning of some sentences like that of Scooby1965 19:02
Wait, are you telling me that that cooler holds two shaker cups AND a gallon of ice water.
Yeah, I might have to get that shit, boi.
Seriously this dude knows what he's talking about - well researched. But he also knows how to present it.
Man could be a guest speaker in a university!
Great message
Hey Alan, how tall are you?
What are you doing here go back on teaching me how to not break my back while squating.
pike that's what he's doing just in a way that will make you slimmer I guess
You got a great channel Alan!
Come on man...its about buy my cooler...for pre and post workout shakes or drinks...u know better.its about the net...not .."you need to drink this now" ..its all misleading
Guys welcome to the inside of my friend RHINO's head! I'm glad the rest of the world finally gets to see what I have known for a decade, Stan Efferding isn't just some beast with a pro bodybuilding card and multiple world records in powerlifting, he is also a genius!
I could listen to Stan all day. I've watched all 8 Rants and I haven't disagreed with anything yet. Fantastic series!
I couldn't agree more. Stan is the man!
yes, he started and ended this like a college quality essay, without scripting or reading from a page; True athlete, healthy body and mind.
really impressed by the very complete and eloquent discussion, keep up these videos pls
That's nice of you to say, Mark, but it doesn't take a genius to know that you have the fattest face in the world--just a pair of eyes. Just kidding, mate. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge and the laughs. You have some big fans in the south of France.
someone get this guy a PODCAST
no doubt.
done
This guy IS a podcast
Stans wife: “ where’d you go last night”
Stan: “ well it all started around 6am, I removed the 1000 count blanket from off my body an..”
Stans wife: “Never mind”
Subzero lmaoooooo
Lol thats great lol
Lmao
Bahaha
😂😂🤣🤣🤣
This is one of the best guest appearances ever on SuperTraining.
Just a glorious piece of writing. incredible.
Agreed.
I agree 100%
Awesome rant. I am Samoan and and I thank you for this rant. It is true we were once very healthy people. It saddens me when I hear of family members passing due to obesity or other related illnesses simply because a change in our diet. I do my best to educate family and friends to eat better, try to stay away from processed foods, try to eat and cook the way our elders did and just be more active.
I enjoy your rants. Ia fa'apaia ma fa'amanuia lou aiga mai le tama I luga.
Alofa tele atu!
Man that is one of the better presentations on public health and obesity I've heard and I'm in the business. I work with around 2500 employees to help educate and promote wellness and we are absolutely up against the wall with this issue.
Stan you nailed it here. We have to start arming people with a fundamental understanding of the issue and the behavioral skills to manage.
Outstanding.
I was not expecting the phrase "inconvenient orwellian dystopia" in a video titled 'stop being so fat' and I loved it.
I was also totally blindsided by the depth and breadth of information and message of learning, compassion and hopefulness,
For anyone who is as impressed with Stan's oratory skills as I am, his youtube channel is filled with "Rhino Rants". One of his latest is about westside and being a savage and it is seriously inspirational. Check it out and make sure to share
did he memorize this shit? lol well spoken dude
+Jason Shults I feel like you really misread his comment. Like clam down.
Jason Shults well, i did watch the whole video, and i am really interested in this topic. It's funny how you try to come off as intelligent with your comment, but reall it just seems like you have stick up your ass lol. TAKE A JOKE. And "shit" can mean anything these days. Like "this food is some good shit bro"
It is my belief that Stan has a photographic memory
+supertraining06 I would totally believe that. The word genius gets thrown around a lot these days but I think he pretty deep into that spectrum, along with an insane work ethic of course.
NOOTROPICS....
My father took me to Samoa when I was 13 to show me a people who treated the people better the bigger they are because I'm big. ❤ Samoa thank you for the eloquently stated precise solution with compassion. God bless you, your family and community.
You should teach as a professor at a university, very articulate and eloquent with your speech integrity.
Wow, this is the first video on CZcams that brought me to tears. As a Samoan born and raised in American Samoa till I graduated high school and moved to the States, Im listening to you describe what our lives are like on the island and it’s saddens me to realize how far we as Samoans have come from the old black and white photos of maybe fifty years ago and to mass we carry around now. You hit the nail on the head about educating people regarding nutrition. Growing up, the way we were taught to lose weight was just not eat as much or starve yourself. Appreciate your candidness about this issue uso.
its like he is reading something
except he is driving
He's probably had this talk a million times.
thought he was reading because I wasnt looking
Hes watching traffic.
green screen trafic in the background lol
geez Stan should be a public speaker. Out-fucking-standing delivery.
Outstanding!!
Beautifully articulated. You've made an instant fan out of me.
The auditory skills of this man are impressive
as well as his oratory skills
I was really hoping he was going to pull into a Taco Bell.
Talk about plot twist LOL
This had me laughing! I love youtube comments. Comedic gold waiting to be discovered.
10 dorito tacos, 3 cinnamin twists, and a DIET PEPSI please...lol
+hulkjump towork 200 less calories in the drink...means I can eat ANOTHER taco.
I can live with that trade
You are my hero.
This rant was the best talk I have heard for years and is really going to motivate me to get back on the horse and ride into my future.
My life went dead flat when my wife of 43 died, in a way so did I.
I have been trying all of the pills and potions to fight the fat and I grew bigger and bigger.
That stops today, I have a program, Fit Father and I am going to tighten up and fly right.
Thanks, Mark for the inspiration, Stephen
Stan is amazingly compassionate, informed, and articulate in this video.
fuck, I can listen to this dude talk for hours, super well spoken and intelligent
this man is very well spoken we need more of him very enjoyable to listen to
I've learned almost everything I know about lifting from this channel and I have to say this has been my favorite video to date. Very well done Rhino
Fantastic video. Calories in calories out. Coaches and training need to stop with the bullshit fad diets trying to trick people into thinking its anything but as you put it “eat less and move more”!!! I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with anyone on this topic more then I have in this video.
So when is his TED talk?
How in the hell you know what TED talk is?
It feels like he’s practicing for one doesn’t it
@@sweetguy19762 how could anyone not know what that is? We all have access to the same internet.
@@sweetguy19762 ??
SO very well spoken in oratory skill and structure of thought. Wet need to hear more of this guy!
Rhino rants are hands down the best out there! No judgement no BS just power!
When he talks it's so fluid, it sounds like he's reading a book 😂😂😂
Eating their veggies, knees weak, palms sweaty, sunscreen on their shoulders already Samoan Spaghetti
Hilarious!
lmao
Stan is so well-spoken and concise.
Thumbs up!
Stan's humility and compassion is a breath of fresh air in the fitness industry.
Stan probably had A++ on speaches in high school.
this was awesome. it was like stan was reading a written speech. obviously passionate
This really is an astounding verbal performance. A clinically articulate, comprehensive, perfectly structured meditation on obesity. It would've been impressive coming from a doctor or a college professor. From a bestially strong human pachyderm, it's mind blowing. I don't think I've ever heard an extempore talk quite like this one. If he weren't driving I'd have assumed he was reading off a teleprompter. I have to admit, the sheer implausibility of it had me laughing out loud.
Subscribe to his channel, He does it every time during his "Rants", Not a single Hiccup!
Thanks, I'll do just that.
I agree. How in the world does he do this?
Stan is obviously someone who reads a great deal. Or rather, he's accustomed to studying significant quantities of subject matter in his area of interest. He's also used to communicating that subject matter in formal contexts. But that's not enough to explain what he's doing here. He's clearly able to structure material in his head and "read" it out loud like someone reading from a text book. It indicates a highly clinical, regimented mindset...and helps explain his success as a bodybuilder/powerlifter and a businessman.
Magister Ludi Indeed, He has alluded to this point in several interviews, Of the parallels of success in Bodybuilding/Powerlifting and Business.
I hope he will expound on this topic in future "rants".
Thank you Stan that was a phenomenal talk. Held my attention throughout because it was filled with common sense. It was encouraging to hear what my thoughts have been over the last few months as I go back to the gym. Move more eat less, be consistent in my exercise, and do the exercises I enjoy doing. Hope one day to shake your hand, and by the way I love the T-shirt. Thanks again. Lance
DAMN!! That was amazing man!! So well-spoken and informative...thanks for sharing, Stan!!
Your intellect in matched only by your muscles
I thought he was reading this off of something that he rehearsed, he is crazy well spoken
Exactly my thoughts, too. He's an amazing speaker.
He’s either reading, or has an in-ear prompter. It’s obvious in the cadence of his speech. It takes practice,
like anything else. Although he still has to write these long presentations.
THANK YOU!!!! I am so happy to hear a clear, concise, reasonable voice on this issue. That was truly inspirational and motivating and I will share this video with everyone I encounter that is struggling with weight loss or understanding the fitness industry's tendency to lean towards quick fixes. Thank you again!
That was righteous! Thanks for posting, there is so much in there...I'm going to have to watch again after I share it with folks.
You are an incredibly well spoken guy.
This man is smooth.
Yeah it seems like hes reading a damn book.
That's what I was thinking, his voice is so smooth and soothing.
He speaks quite well. Awesome stuff.
By far and away one of the best 20 mins CZcams videos to watch. This may be 7 years old but it needs sharing once more.
By far the best speech I have ever seen on this topic, I will be holding onto this video for years to come.
Damn awesome message
almost made my eyes water :)
Stan would be a good narrator
I feel like I am listening to an audiobook, so well spoken and still focused on the road. Thanks for this video Stan.
you speak so well, its like you a reading of a prompter! you never stop or stumble? Great content!
that cooler is badass
Great message and content. Since all of you are commenting on his "reading"/monotone delivery - it is because he is using a wireless ear prompter - I am an actor and have used my ear prompter at trade shows and large presentations.
You can tell he is repeating what is being said in ear without actually thinking feeling it first. That is why it sounds very monotone, since he is just keeping up with audio script - I have done it, it is hard, and takes a lot of focus.
Nothing wrong with this it is a good way to ensure you get all of your points made but it is much harder to sound natural than even reading a TelePrompter/script... but it is easier if you know the topic and script well of course. I bet he started using ear promoter with the speaking engagements he does, and now uses them for these videos.
Hope he doesn't want to keep this a secret, ha.
He shouldn't, it is still his words and ideas and a good delivery.
This would make sense, buuuut,I'd like to see more proof.
Thank you so much for taking the time to do this video. Digging the drive, too. Great way to express! You've opened my mind up considerably and am much more motivated to educate myself along with my peers.
"There is no finish line.". Most important thing you can get from this entire video is that one line. Well said.
In all seriousness though I love listening to Stan talk.
Listen to #StanWinstrol
Nice speech stan
I hope the whole world can listen/watch this several times.
Some serious topics and issues uncovered here.
Sending this to my mom and clients I work with .
Lots of fine points mentioned.
brilliant video Stan. No teleprompter, no notes, that is someone that is educated and informed and you nailed it on the head with the bureaucrats. Thank you for educating the people. You're very well spoken.
The Rock while watching this video: *Raises Eybrow*
wow..... what a smart man!
By far,the most informative and best CZcams video on fat loss that I've ever watched.... thanks so much for getting straight to the point and not over complicating it....much love from Namibia...
One of the best videos I've ever seen!!!Thank you Stan.
it sounds like he's reading a story
Rhino easily rivals Morgan Freeman in his storytelling prowess. Genius.
Excellent video. I gave it a thumbs up for the fact that he actually talked to us like we weren't simpletons needing bullet point lists of "Top 5 XXXXX" to understand something.
Dude I dont care about fitness anymore your story telling skills is THE BEST I HAVE EVER HEARD! I want to speak like you do!
It sounds like he's reading it, but it doesn't look like it.
sounds like an audio book...
Truly smart man. Going to share your videos and information to as many people as possible.
Wow! What a breath of fresh air! You've got a lot going on and your willing to share, thanks for your contribution. I'm all ears.
it piss it sick its revolting its insulting
It's pissening!
Jason Shults pls bro, 6 car crashes 3 tsunamis 4 train wrecks one big bang incident bro, not in the AM
your turtle neck is amazing
Order 66
It me
wow. I guess he's not just a meathead from the gym...
i expected some Rich Piana shit lmao
Whatever it takes, right babe? Gotta confuse the viewers.
Most bodybuilders in today's world are incredibly intelligent, mostly because they have the good mind of knowing what they're putting into their bodies, and have a vast knowledge of functions of the body.
I doubt it bro :DD
I've met plenty of Power Lifters, Bodybuilders and Strongman Competitors who have a PHD or are a Licensed Physical Therapist. Very intelligent, and unlike our sitting US President, no teleprompter needed! Also, you can take all the drugs you want, and if you eat like shit even as much as some of these Pros would lead you to believe they do, you would never get the results they have. I don't care how good your genetics are and how full your medicine cabinet is. Stan is one of those guys who knows his shit, practices what he preaches and preaches what he practices.
Maybe the most well thought out rant on CZcams. Amazing, brilliant, straight up truth here. Bravo Rhino! Keep up the good work.
Probably the most well thought out and clearly spoken rants, ever. If you can even call this a rant... so well said!!
Great talk but that cooler shit seems like a joke.
jonnenne yeah it sucks I bought one but got my money back because the the one shaker cup goes directly down into the other one so you can’t have both drinks made
Very well articulated
Thank you for a very honest and inspiring monologue laying down 'home truths' and straightening out some of my ( forgotten) crooked thinking!
Excellent delivery and doing it while you're driving. Mind blown. Great video!
Dashboard mounted teleprompter?
This guy is a different species. Einstein would have to rewatch this
Eating less is a terribly difficult concept to understand. I agree.
Not really, a major point of this is that it's not some difficult thing to understand and that people make it seem that way, wrongly so, it's the way we approach people, spread information and inspire change from within that matters, health is a mindset as much as it the things you do to benefit said health.
Wat
+IISocratesII Couldn't have said it better myself.
Einstein would also have to be relevant. I think you meant Tesla, he was the true genius👍
Best, well spoken help on nutrition I’ve heard in a while. And I’ve been helping people on this subject for 35 years. 🙏🏻🙌🏻💪🏻
when I frist clicked this video I didn't expected what was to come! Best and most honest video I watched in years! Congrats!!
Not in the am Stan
i dont think he said "um" or "uhh" the entire time. #communicationgoals
This is the best youtube upload ive seen in the years of watching youtube. Great stuff.
Thanks for this very thought through video. You made it so easy to listen to you for half an hour. I'm a trainer myself and get confronted with various types of people who all try to achieve a certain goal. Sometimes I catch myself being not that motivated as they really need me to be. Thanks Mr. Efferding for your highly motivating words.
The Rhino is the Morgan Freeman of the fitness industry. Has the grace and wisdom of a thousand year old tree
go high carb low fat vegan and never calorie restrict again! animal products are very high in fat and cholesterol, and the fat you eat is the fat you wear.
if you want to learn more, here are some doctors talking about this:
-dr john mcdougall
-dr michael greger
-dr caldwell esselstyn
-dr T. collin campbell
I'm a high carb low fat vegan but not calorie restricting is stupid you can still easily get fat
not longterm if you it good wholesome foods and move your body
eat*
check out dr john mcdougall, he goes into great lenght about this
High carb low fat is FUD diet propagated in the US from 70's, gues what, now u got 60-70% overweight/obesity rate.
If u wanna keep ur bodyfat in check u need healthy fats, and a lot of them, not so much of processed foods with simple carbs(flour/sugar/glucose-fructose syroup and such).
Awesome video Stan. I respected you before for the training and dedication you have, but now it's total respect as a human being. You validate me, certainly we'd be great friends if we knew each other! You are spot on dude!
Fantastic message, obviously this is a topic close to Stan's heart and he has strong feelings about it. Stop hurting, start helping. Words to live by
1. lift weights for 1.5 - 2 hours per week, and be sedentary (rest) for the remainder of the week.
2. don't eat less, build more muscle.
done
2 hours per week. What do you think you're possibly gonna get from that.
If each set takes AROUND 10 sec, then 3 sets (x4,x6,x8) = 30 sec of work. If you rest ABOUT 3 min between sets, then that's 9.5 min per lift. if you do 4 lifts per workout, then that's 38 min per day (roughly 40 min). three days a week, that's ABOUT 2 hours per week. Notice the rep range 4,6,8, not 10-12 not 15+. The point is to workout intensely.
BTW, I don't agree with him when he says a calorie is a calorie. I would much rather get my fats from avocados/coconut oil, because they're not going to clog my arteries like the highly processed hydrogenated shortenings they use to fry foods or in junk food. Same goes with carbs, sugar and starches are very energy dense and nutrient deficient, and fruits and vegetables are nutrient and antioxidant dense with a great energy to fiber ratio (you eat less energy from the added fiber).
+FelixAndre 👍
+FelixAndre You do realize that coconut oil is nothing but saturated fat correct?
easy to not be fat when you're 70% roid
I just discovered Stan and am blown away by this amazing man. His intellect is as impressive as his strength/musculature. He is absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much, Stan, for sharing your wisdom and for setting such a first-class example.
Phenomenally well done! I would love to hear a panel with Stan Efferding and Chris Duffin on nutrition, education, business...heck, anything.
Thanks for the great content in what you do, Supertraining. Keep it up
