She is very immature and has no insight. “Because he’s my child” and “because I don’t do drugs” aren’t valid reasons for deserving custody of your child. She takes no responsibility for herself and is clearly too stubborn to acknowledge that she has things to work on before she deserves to have her son back. She makes excuses and blames her parents for everything.

Some friends end up raping, beating, shaking, torturing these babies when mom trusts them to care for them . Many times it’s a bf. or an immature friend. The child suffers these choices
Spoiled is an understatement. That's a living person not an object. He belongs where he's safe. Not everything in life will be handed to you and the child is a child, not a thing to say gimme gimme gimme. She literally asked dr phil for money and proceeds with gimme attitude.
She is extremely immature. She needs to grow up and get her ducks in a row before thinking about getting her kid back. But I can't understand why she hasn't visited or spent time with her son. Just because he lives w/grandparents, and she doesn't like them? So what? Most parents would endure anything for their child. Also, when grandparents brought him to the doctor and she wrote a note, why didn't she say you know what this is my son, I'm coming to the appointment too? She's so butthurt about DNA and she appears to be sensitive about being adopted maybe she should get some sort of therapy for that.🤷🏼♀️

So she can get a ride to work everyday but can’t find a ride to visit her son...
Her mom thinks she hitched a ride with a couple of pot dealers to come see him for 20 minutes the year before. She needs more stable relationships with her own friends before she’s in charge of a chikd

She doesn’t need criticism, guys, she loves her kid. I agree, she needs to drop the attitude and excuses, but she is so young and immature. She needs guidance and Dr.Phil is just the man to give it to her! I wish the best for that precious child, his mother, and all involved!
Shes old enough to know thats its not appropriate to act like this. Shes not 14, you cant use the "shes young and immature" excuse any longer. She is way passed that.
If your car breaks down then you take an Uber or a taxi or the bus. Or you get a ride from a friend. Or you walk. Nothing could keep me from seeing my kids.
She so nasty lady this child is in good place to live.

Perhaps there are more 10 pieces (or even fewer than) of criteria, but the show has 10 of them to make it sound more official. George Carlin (an atheist, mind you) dwindled The 10 Commandments to make it 2 commandments, and it made sense. There are more than 2 things necessary to take care of a child, of course, but the concept of not definitely saying 10 is still the same.
