Thanks for stopping by!! Since the prices of all luxury ,especially Chanel are rising I thought it would be great to chat about the Jumbo and Maxi and discuss their attributes and reasons to purchase them first if you are interested in a classic flap.
The price specifically of the maxi on the resale market is really great compared to the other sizes. I thoroughly enjoy mine and am hoping this video gives you some insight and some options outside of the smaller classic flap sizes.

The maxi is my favorite of the classic flaps. I want one so much. The jumbo doesn't hold enough for it to be a practical bag for me. I could live with the maxi. I saw a photo of model Katie Kloss carrying the maxi in NYC and she looked so chic.
Yes!! I love the maxi size over the jumbo for sure. I think that it is more practical especially due to the strap length as well!
I love a good pre-owned Chanel! I’ve saved thousands going that route. I’ve had people ask if I miss or wish I’ve experienced buying in store and I said I can’t miss an experience I haven’t had lol. Other luxury brands I may purchase in store depending on the market but Chanel pre-loved is just such a great bang for your buck it can’t be denied! Thanks for sharing your babies with us!!!
I agree with you! I have had the store experience and I think that it is cool if you have an actual SA that knows you etc. The prices are so expensive now that in store prices are nuts! What is your fav Chanel bag in your collection???

I feel like the Maxi is perfect as a carry on or travel bag to fit all my necessities but then the Jumbo is giving me more everyday. ahhh can I just have both atp?! lmaoooo. Ha! I love it! I still love my Maxi more than my Jumbo. For me the chain length on the maxi is perfect for crossbody or shoulder, where the jumbo is only good as a doubled-up shoulder bag, unless you are quite tall. The straps may work if you are tall. I am about 5'5 so the Jumbo strap is literally above my knee. I think that they pretty much hold the same amount and both are heavy. I was def thinking my Maxi would hold my little 13' MacBook pro:( I have to know which one you end up choosing!!

Thank you for this video because for a while now I’ve been thinking about the Chanel jumbo and maxi because I have the medium, but sometimes I feel like I bought the wrong size and should have bought the jumbo or maxi instead because the medium is a small bag in my opinion. I am considering if I should sell the medium and get a larger size I don’t know what I will do yet, but will make a decision soon before the price goes up again.
I love the maxi size but you have to be okay with a large bag. The jumbo is cool but the chain strap is so crazy long. But the size is really good. Sad to hear that you want to get rid of the medium. I’ve never hand one but seems so good
Love my Jumbo as a crossbody bag. I am tall and it is just right.
So glad the length works for you! It looks pretty crazy on me as a crossbody, but I throw it on as a shoulder back and I am good to go🥰

Great video. On me the jumbo is better as a crossbody bag and hits my hip & the maxi only sits at my waist. The colour of the maxi is beautiful

Hi Leon! Yes- I have purchased from FASHIONPHILE and really like them. They guarantee the authenticity and I have purchased from them multiple times. Also would recommend Rebag. Their prices are a bit higher, but both have pretty decent sales. Every 30 days FASHIONPHILE will discount their items 5%. Some have used EBay and found success but I haven’t ever tried EBay, but the two others I love. Good luck and congrats in advance!!

Hey Diane! I think that the prices have gone up a tad on the resale market for the Maxi, but still better than paying retail. I’ve seen them for around $6k lately. I think that the single flap will be cheaper. I think that the single vs double flap comes down to preference. People like the double flap for its structure and the single flap because it was a lot lighter ( from what I hear. I haven’t held on before)

Oh no. I thought I had some in this video, but maybe it was another one. I should have some pics of both bags on my Instagram. Im about 5'5 (ish) and the maxi is larger but awesome for crossbody, double strap shoulder and single strap shoulder. The Jumbo is a tad smaller but the chain is super long and it doesnt crossbody well on me. Its down to my knees when I crossbody. The same is true wearing as a shoulder bag with a single strap and when the strap is doubled it fits pretty well.
Do you get a lot of use of the Chanel bags. I only find myself using them on the weekends. Don’t wear them to the office, do you ?
Hey Stephanie 👋🏾! I actually do get good wear out of them. I don’t mind wearing them ANYWHERE 😂 I wear my Chanel bags to work and when I’m just doing something casual as well. I don’t consider any of my bags special occasion bags, I literally where them whenever, wherever. I def get that people like to reserve them so they don’t mess them up. I don’t want to mess mine up either but I def wear them ☺️

I work from home but when I do go into the office for a special meeting I tend to wear other designer bags that are less flashy and expensive. However I wear them everywhere else to the store with casual clothing like jeans, sweats, and etc. I love the look of the jumbo but it’s too heavy for me when packed. I have to stick with the M/L, smalls, and minis for date nights and special events.

It is actually a really deep purple. When I saw it online I thought it was burgundy too, but when I opened her up she was purple☺️
