Here's my message in condensed form: Years ago, my mother had low blood pressure and she didn't feel well because of that, so they brought her to the emergency room in a stretcher. Nurse there said, "Lie down. Don't sit up and don't stand up. Lying down helps blood pressure go back up to normal. And keep lying down for a while, while we give you iv fluids for hydration." That helped my mother. Have a good day everybody! Bye!

Probably about 10 years ago, my mother had low blood pressure and she felt so bad that I had to call 911. The paramedics put her in a stretcher and took her by ambulance from her home to the hospital emergency room. The emergency room RN (nurse) there told her that lying down for a while (in the usual horizontal position when a person lies on their back in bed at night to sleep) would help her blood pressure to get back up to normal. How? She said something to the effect of, "You know how the heart pumps blood to circulate to vital organs, well the thing is if the person has low blood pressure, lying down would help the heart pump the blood to get to the brain better, but when the person is standing up or sitting up, it's hard for the heart to pump blood up to the brain if there's low pressure." I should also mention, while she was lying down in the emergency room, they also gave her IV fluids to keep her hydrated, but it was a long time ago, I forgot what exactly they gave her through the IV. She's in her mid-80s right now and she's okay and she can still walk around and do things around her house. Have a good day, everybody. Bye.

Listen very carefully, I dont know how old you are but your heart is failing. Low blood pressure is the cause of a weak and failing heart, you need to start a safe exercise program and gradually increase over time. Start with walking then jogging slowly then faster. This is lsd all over time. You can fix all of it, if you dont be active you will die, your heart is already failing. Good luck, pray to God for more help.

I rarely have BP issues. I drink 3L of water daily. If you knw you have low BP and drink less than 1L plain water daily i think you should increase your daily intake. When they say eat salt i think its best to eat some salty biscuits as opposed to take half spoon salt in water. If you drink lots of water your kidney wont have problem flushing the salt and other impurities. Your pee should always be clear if its yellow increase your water intake.
