Wow, thanks for the upload. For more than a year I've looked for a clean version of these idents...
I saw some of them ages ago but they got lost/deleted from YT.
These are the 30 Hold idents from the Carlton regular set available from TV Ark:
Corporate Factual/Event (0:00)
Corporate News/Drama (1:00)
Light Entertainment (2:00)
Soft Drama/Generic (2:30)
Light Factual Generic (3:00)
Serious/News (3:30)
The idents missing from this batch on TV Ark are:
Drama 30 Hold
Drama 30 Hold (original version with different soundtrack/no flame; 5+25 and 3+27 versions missing, too)
Entertainment 30 Hold
Sport 30 Hold
Daytime 30 Hold
Interesting how the Christmas idents (and not just the 30 Hold variants) use soundtracks from the regular batch (maybe because the soundtracks were completed a short time after these idents had already been printed onto videotape):
Pacey Drama uses the Drama soundtrack (0:30)
Bright Drama uses the Daytime soundtrack (1:30)
Dramatic uses the Serious/News soundtrack (4:00)
Serious uses the Corporate News/Drama soundtrack (on TV Ark, not in this CZcams compilation)
Well, the Christmas idents have been slightly altered in the soundtrack to fit the theme [possibly from those base soundtracks]. So far, there has hardly been clean idents of it.

i always wondered why the itv letters are colored white instead of yellow
they are actually yellow, it's the television's color distortion that makes colors not so accurate
HTV also used these sounds along with.
that's because carlton bought HTV
Granada owned HTV for a while but it was mainly owned by Carlton Communications.
