    ABOUT US:
    We’re traveling full time, living on our own terms and showing you the up-close-and-personal details of us figuring it out along the way. Sometimes it’s about navigating big, life-altering decisions. Sometimes it’s about navigating the seemingly lawless free-for-all that is driving in Hanoi. It’s moments of triumph and moments of panic. The good, the bad, the ugly - and most importantly, the real and real funny.
    We’re not here to tell you “how it’s done.” Just how we’ve done it. And that whatever it is that’s calling you - the way you’ll do it is much more attainable than it may seem. We believe the world’s a more interesting place when people reject convention in favor of what they actually care about. This is us putting that idea to the test - one budget spreadsheet, RV renovation and mountain-peak drone video at a time.

    I keep getting surprised by new videos in this series! It's awesome and way helpful. Funding travel is the biggest challenge/consideration people have! Not sure if it is on your radar, but another idea would be looking for a new job in a new country in your current/similar line of work. It has been PERFECT for us. We have kids, so we needed a little bit of stability. This has allowed us to travel around on weekends and holidays in a whole new place. We have more vacation time here and have access to travel to other areas that would have cost a fortune to get to from Michigan! So many options out there and it is so fun to see how people make it work to follow their dreams!

      Always An Adventure With Kids oh my goodness, this is what my husband and I want to do this year with our kiddo! We just don’t even know where to begin! Any tips would be wonderful. What websites did you look at for job listings?

    I’m a teacher and this sounds great to be able to make a little extra cash in the evenings, breaks, and over the summer. I’m curious though if speaking additional languages outside of English is necessary? I know German as my family is from there, but my Spanish is rusty (lol) and I don’t speak anything else.

      Great question, I should have mentioned that! With VIPkid you don't need to know any Chinese at all :) The kids are really smart and the mid to upper level students have a pretty good foundation of English already, so it's a lot of having conversations with them!

    Hi sweetheart! I been searching high and low on how to start teaching online because I as well have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and been working in the financial industry for over 30 years. Time for a change, plus I want to travel abroad. Please help me with tips on how I can get started and hired. I totally appreciate it!!

    So, is that $21/hr actual straight for hours worked in a day, or “per student” using your classes??

    Would all your lessons end up being the same? And is there a fix guide of what you teach? Maybe based on lesson plans or topics from the company?

    • @HudsonAndEmily
      @HudsonAndEmily Před 5 lety +1

      Great question! VIPkid provides all the coursework for you, so you can just log in that day (or earlier) to see what you're teaching! There is no prep work required and all of the lessons are in a similar format and based on topics. And yes, each slide within the lesson has a guide of what to teach and you're encouraged to tailor that based on the student's ability. The mid to upper level students already have a great foundation of English so it's fun having conversations with them. Feel free to email me with any other questions!
